I'm getting in 90psi in both cylinders yet the sled runs and has decent power. I've tried two gauges granted they are chinese parts house grade. I'm kind of at a lost
I have the same 92/94 measured on both. Yet it runs incredibly well. I know there are issues but not sure on cost to rebuild. Hard to justify since it is not used for long trips and runs and sounds amazing. 2011 Polaris 800 6800 miles. You all are awesome with your comments and thanks for the wonderful video.
Guys throw away harbor freight compression testers, they are 15-30 psi off, I've tested multiple compression testers the way it works as the more you pay for it the better it is, right now have a Mac tools tester and its 20psi higher then the cheap stuff...
Thank you! This was the best video I watched for showing all steps involved in doing the compression test (for a very beginner!).
My Dt175mx hade 125psi and my cousins 100 hade 150psi

Maybe check to see if someone has a better guage.. Usually it's a sign of needing a rebuild under 100psi
@RecklessOffsets I plan to do so Monday I just don't trust the gauge but at 5k miles she may need a fresh top end
@ricochetey oh yeah that's quite a few miles! She may be ready for a freshening up lol
