It makes me sad thinking about this Raiders team. This was such a fun team.

Fun but crappy. Carr started regressing like crazy after this season. Traded Khalil Mack which is INSANE and traded that punter king i think his name is? He was hilarious lol

Theres also a video of Cameron wake pile driving palmer into the ground. No penalty. Theres also an video of Alex smith sliding behind the line of scrimmage got in the head no flag

I heard this game over the radio. It was amazing especially the two point conversion to Crabtree. If Carr never got hurt they couldve challenged New England for the AFC title

If Carr doesn’t get hurt, and they make a deep playoff run, the Raiders never blow up that team and they keep Jack Del Rio. The Raiders might’ve prevented the Chiefs from becoming as dominant as they have been.

He tried to change to zone O and kept Norton for too long. Letting musgrave go was where I saw it wasn't gonna work out. Look how the team acted out with Downings offense. The team wasn't mad about the kneeling. It was about how trash the new offense was. Pure frustration.
Del Rio is better than Gruden

That was a CHARMED 2016 season for the Raiders. What a great example. The ending...the PI on Cooper, the PI on Robertson on the 4th down pass to Richard. How Richard's catch right before the Roberts TD catch burns off 35 seconds. The penalty that ends up in the Raiders favor because Janikowski's kick and the great coverage by Daren Bates and Brendan Trawick took another six seconds off the clock. They literally needed all those things to go right or else Brees would've likely gotten Will Lutz closer to a GW FG. It just seems like after years and years of all the breaks going against us, for ONE YEAR, the Raiders got the breaks and made the plays they needed. I'm hoping this new setup in Vegas brings some of that back.

He never lost that IMO. maybe in 2017 he was a bit skittish but 2018 he was fine. His supporting cast was the issue. Mainly the 13 sack abysmal defense. I am hopeful we are atleast scratching the surface of potential playoffs this year. Maybe 7-9 to 9-7 at the top end. Next year, if gruden can keep doing his thing, we should be in the playoffs.

and now, 4 years later, the Raiders (now known as the Las Vega$ Raiders) gets their 2nd win against the Saints and Derek Carr is now 2-0 against Drew Brees
This is the Raiders' 1st win in NOLA in 16 years since the year 2000
Plus they SNAPPED a 3 game losing streak against the Saints

The Issue with the Raiders was their Defense and Del Rio never addressed the Issue, instead he let Musgrave Walk who was the OC, and Kept Norton Jr. Who was the DC and it was just a Domino Effect with constant rebuilding that led the Raiders to this point.
Having only lived 21 years watching this team since I was a kid this team here was my favorite Raider squad I got to watch ☠️ a mother fucker cried when the Carr broke down, still hurts 😭 I’ll never forget this squad RN4L Just Win Baby!! ☠️☠️☠️
Back when Amari Cooper was with the Raiders and he and Carr had a special connection together. Funny thing is, if Carr hadn't gotten hurt that year, Cooper might never have come here to Dallas a couple of years later. Crazy how much history would have changed, but obviously I'm glad Amari is lighting up scoreboards with Dak nowadays.

England is my CITY we wouldn’t have been a playoff team again. This was a fluke year for us. Look how many games were 4th quarter comebacks we had. Our defense was terrible that year, which is why the Mack trade was necessary. No need to over pay one guy when the whole defense stunk.
Still saying that? Gruden and Mayock have successfully rebuilt an entire depth chart in just two years flat. Now we have Jacobs, Waller, Crosby, Ruggs (unproven), Abram (unproven), Ferrell (unproven), Carr, Beast Offensive Line, and finally some linebackers.
Sky's the limit now for probably the youngest team in the NFL right now.

I miss the Snead/Cooks era
Michael Thomas, Brandin Cooks, and Willie Snead along with the Mark Ingram and Tim Hightower duo plus a great offensive line! The Saints had an offense, but their defense was basically the Kansas City Chiefs'. They put up a fight, but got killed at the same time. All 9 of the Saints games were close and it frustrates me, how they could have went to the playoffs had they won some close games like the Raiders, Giants, Falcons (both times..) buccaneers week 14, Panthers (week 11), Lions (the defense kept the Saints in it for a while), the Broncos, and even the Chiefs. They had a rough schedule, but in reality, they did better than most people thought. They were rebuilding too on their defense and things somewhat improved.
I will never forget this game I was just talking about it yesterday my saints always find a way to lose a game they have no business losing 🤦🏾♂️😂

First year of Thomas and Rankins and Bell. The offensive line was a lil better. Just a few pieces missing on defense.

This Saints team had so much potential. Offensively we were stacked but we were so bad at corner this year. PJ got hurt the second game and we were doomed the whole year.cant forget about Delvin Breux getting hurt this game too

For the Texans/Jags Hail Mary, that was 2010, not 2011...
The Raiders were so good in 2016. Derek Carr, Latavis Murray and Beastmode in backfield, Seth Roberts in the slot at Receiver, Crab, Amari Cooper, Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin off the edges and Derek Carr led the league in game winning drives that year from winning so many games late in the 4th quarter. Had Jack Del Rio, not played Derek Carr in the 4th quarter of a 21-point blowout in Week 16 against Tennessee when Derek broke his fibula, they would definitely made to the AFC Title game that year and Carr would probably won NFL MVP that year as well. Vegas was that good in 2016....

We had arguably the best O line that year close with Dallas.. so wtf you talking about? Penn allowed only ONE sack all year, it so happened that sack lead to Carr's injury.. If he had stayed healthy we could have challenged New England for the AFC title.. we will never know now 😩 it's still RN4L!
