Your gardens are an inspiration and a lovely spot to visit. I have just started a hydrange garden in the front of my house, to replace the weeds and mint that looks terrible. You were my inspiration for this, thank you for sharing your knowledge
Love your videos and I adore your garden and library. I also very intrigued about your black arches in the hydrangeas room. Can you share where you bought the from?
Danielle, this garden tour with lilies in bloom was so beautiful. The rain made the gardens and library even more magical, as did the night walk with the lights and music.
Great garden tour! I love everything about your library, flowers & books. The music selection plus both daytime & night filming is incredibly special. Danielle, we are so fortunate you share your garden with us. - Julie
Magical, magical, magical!!! What a wonderful segment, seeing your garden in the sun, rain, day and night too. Danielle, thank you for sharing your amazing talents and labors of love with us. It’s always so inspiring that you are never finished and looking ahead to make changes when everything looks perfection to me! Really appreciate that you share books also! Like the weekly garden walks-they exercise my mind and love for nature!
Hi Danielle, beautiful magical garden tour ✨ l love your gardens and garden library. The mantel with the delf blue vases brimming with lizzianthus were gorgeous! 😮 And please yes! Make those sugar flowers with us!! 👍 I can tell that you were happy to recommend that book, it sounds great 😃. Thanks for all you do to make your videos so enjoyable. Wonderful idea to pot up bulbs for a "traveling" garden! I do that with potted annuals when I have a bare spot, but I like the repetition you created in your garden. Great job 🎉. Its got to be a great feeling to see your grandmothers dahlia in bloom. Martha Miller is a lovely bloom, and im sure was a lovely lady. 😍
LILIES ARE BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤!!! That's a great idea to pot plant them, allowing that punch of color to a specific place. Night time lighting adds a magical feel to the area. FABULOUS 🤩🤩🤩
Your skill at layering plants into the garden is un matched!!!! Seriously the best looking gardens I ever see ✨. Thank you for touring us through Danielle. All Such Incredibly lush and happy plants!!
I LOVE beginning my Saturdays with your garden tours. Thank you for making these. And truly, there's so much to look at and see, both detailed species and the big picture moments, I do not ever notice weeds!
Love these weekly garden tours. Excited for your hyacinth bean tunnel. Everything is looking so beautiful. Definitely so magical lit up in the evening.
Daniel, you are a true proverbs woman. I look forward to your inspiring garden tips and knowledge each week and aspire to have such an inviting garden myself. 💕🇨🇦
Your garden(s) are looking more and more BEAUTIFUL with each and every video, with each and every season!! Day or night - I commend you for yoyr vision, your talent, and all your hard work!!!
Amazing as always! I am so excited for your video on making the sugar flowers! I love flowers in all forms. I decorate cakes and have wanted to try those beautiful realistic sugar flowers for a long time. Can’t wait!
Hi Danielle thank you again for sharing your beautiful garden and I agree 🙌the Black Russian is the best tomato 🍅 for sure so many colours and my favourite is Lissianthus too , everything looks amazing 👒🐝💐From The Land Down Under 🇦🇺🐨🦘
really enjoyed this tour. Lillies in pots were lovely-so full and colorful. One thing that caught my eye was starting at time marker 14:14 I noticed that the hydrangea border on the left now has a lovely soft/antiquey pink with touches of light green. Really lovey. I have gone back to view your older videos and it is really neat to see how the garden has evolved and your comments about it.
Danielle, your garden beauty, especially at the end with the lit ambience and lovely music, actually moved me to tears. You really have a special gift ❤❤❤
Hi Danielle, I'm wondering what size of pots you used for your lilies? I've been experimenting with this idea for a few years and my plants just don't grow so lush and beautiful. Thanks for sharing your garden!
I look forward to your garden video every Saturday morning ❤ your lily pots, can you explain what you do after they are done blooming and winterized, thanks
Hi friend! After they were done blooming I planted them into the ground. My mom keeps her lilies in pots year round. In the winter she puts the pots in her garage.
Good morning Danielle….I always enjoy your garden tours. The peaceful evening walk with all the lights and beautiful music was a favorite. Thanks for sharing! 🌸
Hi Danielle, I'm wondering if growing your lilies in pots alters their bloom time? In my garden the lilies in the ground are all past blooming now, but wonder if growing some in pots may extend the season. Thanks! I always love your weekly garden tour. You're gardens's ahead of mine by about a week, but it's most helpful knowing what's at its peak, when.
That’s a great question. I had some Kaveri in the raised beds. I think they bloomed around the same time as the ones in pots. However, I don’t think I planted them on the same day. That would be a good experiment for next year!
Hi Danielle I wanted to suggest the new Proven Winners El Niño Chitalpa! I think it will be a superb addition to your gardens the fragrance is out of this world! I live in Lancaster too and I feel confident it will return next year! I don’t know if it’s a good cut flower but it’s a sensational plant regardless! Please give it a try I know you’ll love it ❤
Have you ever considered removing the one middle garden box in front of the library door to open up that area (I would be constantly walking out that door and tripping over that box :) lol ) and maybe make a wider patio area there too, to maybe put like a Bristo set or a small water fountain? Just curious. Love your whole garden! Love your channel. Kim
Even when planting bulb Lillie’s in containers based on where you live, red Lillie beetles devastate them without constant daily removing them. Just wanted to point that out to gardeners who love bulb Lillie’s but battle with that beetle.
Danielle, your gardens are gorgeous! You have inspired me in so many ways. I’m obsessed with hydrangeas.. question.. how many bulbs are you putting in pots and aprox size of pot?? Your talent in the garden is AMAZING! Thank you. Pam
Your yard is beautiful. Did you take the lilies out of the pots when you put them in the landscape? What will you do with the bulbs over the winter? I am thinking next year my zinnias will have to be in pots since the rabbits have eaten them all. They must be really tasty. I am jealous of your rain. It's been very dry here at my house in Columbus ohio.
Your gardens are beautiful!! I live in Central PA, I like to see what plants work for you. Do you deal with Thrips? I am struggling with them in my Roses & Lisianthus.😕
Danielle. This looks great and you also visited Longwood garden and they did the same system of growing in pots so they can change them out as they age. Will you save these Lilly bulbs for next year?
Hi Suzanne! It’s from Henri Studio. It’s called the Alfresco Fountain. If you search their website you can find a local retailer. I hope you have a great day!
Another beautiful Saturday stroll. Thank you. A couple of questions: Are your Lily pots sunk in the ground or simply placed on the ground. Considering doing the « bucket » method next year for spring and summer bulbs where you have a sunken pot as a place holder. Then you sink similar sized pot with your plant inside the place holder pot. Supposedly making it very easy to have a seasonal show in the same spot. Hope that makes sense. And most importantly could you please speak about Lily bulbs on sale in the summer. Knowing you won’t get any blooms this year on steeply discounted bulbs- if planted right away, will they remain viable next year and produce blooms? Or is this just a waste of money? As always, your knowledge and time are much appreciated. You have introduced me to Ranunculus, Anenomes, Amaryllis and now Lilies!!!!!
Hi Tracy! Thanks for the wonderful bucket tip. The pots are placed in the garden, but sinking them is a great idea. At this point I have taken them out of the pots and planted them in the ground. I work as a writer for a bulb supplier so I’m very passionate about high quality bulbs. I would not purchase a bare lily bulb in the summer. Lily bulbs require a very cold holding temperature to remain viable. If you see Lily bulbs in the summer at a big box store or anywhere out of proper refrigeration I would not buy them. If they are selling potted lily plants that bloomed and now they are on clearance those will be good next year. Ideally Lily bulbs should be planted in the fall so they can develop a strong root system along the stem before the heat comes on. Sometimes I have to purchase spring planted Lily bulbs. If the heat comes on very quickly and they are asiatic (early blooming) they may be short and not usable the first year. This is because they did not have enough weeks to but down roots before their bloom time.
I was thinking of those lovely Kaveri. Will you store them in the basement for the winter or your garage? Would you leave them as is or just store the bulbs like a dahlia tuber? I love the idea of having lilies in pots.

It's very nice to see the new developments in your garden; but my favorite is seeing Grace trotting happily into the Garden Library. I would definitely buy the Martha Miller when it becomes available. It looks like it was painted with a paint brush. So cool!

I learned the trick of puttung pots into the garden with tulips followed by summer annuals. Ita so much easier and more fun to garden this way!
So lovely 💚

Danielle you know I love your garden, but it is even that much more magical now at night! Deanna
They make a half arch trellis that you could put in that bed to always have a tunnel. Gardener’s Supply and Amazon have them.

Magical as always. Your book recommendation has been on my wish list for a while. Must order a copy. 😊

Just magical! I enjoyed the tour.
Thanks for the tour, so peaceful 🥰
Please try the sugar flowers this winter! That would be so fun
Very nice as always. Could you show us your insta hedge next time. And what did you do with that hummingbird fence.
Even when planting bulb Lillie’s in containers based on where you live, red Lillie beetles devastate them without constant daily removing them. Just wanted to point that out to gardeners who love bulb Lillie’s but battle with that beetle.
I have that beetle problem in my Massachusetts garden

After the Lillie’s are done what do you do with the pot and the bulb? If possible please do a video on what to do afterwards with the bulbs.
Your garden looks so beautiful! Hugs to Grace! Question, did you do a video on planting the lilies in pots?
Your yard is beautiful. Did you take the lilies out of the pots when you put them in the landscape? What will you do with the bulbs over the winter? I am thinking next year my zinnias will have to be in pots since the rabbits have eaten them all. They must be really tasty. I am jealous of your rain. Danielle. This looks great and you also visited Longwood garden and they did the same system of growing in pots so they can change them out as they age. Will you save these Lilly bulbs for next year?
Hi friend! Yea! I planted them in ground about a week after shooting this.
Danielle, I love your videos. What size pot do you plant your lilies in? Thank you.
Hmmm that’s a good question. I’m guessing they are similar to a 15 gallon plant pot.
Lovely garden tour, Danielle . I wish I could grow more lilies but the red Lily beetle decimates them every year . Did you ever have that problem?
Magical! Can you tell me where you sourced your fountain? Thank you for all you do. You are SO inspiring!!
Hi Suzanne! It’s from Henri Studio. It’s called the Alfresco Fountain. If you search their website you can find a local retailer. I hope you have a great day!
Lovely! Do the birds drink from your fountain?
Yes😊

Hi, Danielle! Do you have trouble with humidity in your garden library?
How deep are the pots you used for the lillies?
The lilies are stunning! Will you sell them? Or will you pull them for the winter?
Hi friend! I sold the ones in the raised beds and some from the driveway garden. I kept the Kaveri for us❤
I was thinking of those lovely Kaveri. Will you store them in the basement for the winter or your garage? Would you leave them as is or just store the bulbs like a dahlia tuber? I love the idea of having lilies in pots.
Hi Danielle, where did you orrder the rose tatianna lilies?
Hi friend! They are from Longfield Gardens.
Do you have a Pinkie Winkie hydrangea?
May I ask, how wide is your border along your fence line?
😊
