Riding the Riverside & Great Northern Railway for Father's Day 6/16/2024

My wife and I treated my dad (and my mom) to a day in the Wisconsin Dells for Father's Day 2024. Neither of them had ever been on the 15" gauge Riverside & Great Northern Railway before, so that was our first stop. Despite some light rain showers during our trip, we didn't get too wet.
We ride the 11 AM train behind Atlantic No. 1916, the ex-Milwaukee Zoo "Harry J. Grant." On the way back we meet the 4-4-0 No. 82 heading out with its first train of the day.

2 Locomotives ( 82 & 1916 ) Both Engines Were From The Milwaukee County Zoo. I Like The 1916s Original Whistle Better & The Wooden Pilot Before It Was Painted.

Tell the Conductor to turn the engine the other direction at Western Springs. It's easier to 'catch' it to line up with the runaround track than to drag it to a stop.
