That MTM camera system is incredible. I think a lot of people want that but don't end up getting it because buying the Premium package is the only way to get it. Would be nice if it was a stand alone upgrade like the 14 " screen is.

Thanks for the video! We have a low mount roof top tent that would block the cameras above the rear glass and a hitch mount bike rack that will partially obscure the tailgate camera. I bet a lot of other people do too. How about a video of how the multi terrain view is affected with those blocked?
Yeah I can maybe do a video on that at some point, but I would add that the Kuat Ibex rack would allow you to mount your bike without blocking the cameras and running either mid or full height, your choice on that too. No camera blockage! alnk.to/4XuUIGS so there are other options too.
And when the cameras are dirty or covered the truck turns off the safety systems and tells you the cameras are covered, if I remember correctly.
@@BenInBeta Thanks for that suggestion - good idea. Trying to run both the tent and bikes at the same time as I currently do. Kuat swing hitch with Sarris tray rack. IKamper mini on front runner bars on diamondback cover. Top of tent is about level with top of cab.

That removable speaker on the dash would keep me from buying the premium package. It will be removed, just not necessarily by you? Plus you end up with a broken window?
It's always a possibility, but if that's a concern you can always remove it when you park somewhere sketchy too. Seems like a solvable problem and non premiums have that speak option as well. If I still lived in the Bay Area, I wouldn't leave in the dash for sure.
Exactly. Just remove it when you park and leave the truck. My Toyota dealer says they are removing the speakers as soon as the JBL equipped trucks arrive at their lot because people are stealing them.
