One of the more underrated aspects of this video are how many of the highlights are in crunch time. Not no 30pt blowout highlights where Raps lose. Dude is a stud and makes clutch plays
It’s crazy that everything turned out the way it did. Raps we’re poised to take the 7th pick and then we jump into the top 5 and the we pick the “raw prospect” and then he wins ROTY and almost pushes a 2nd round playoff appearance
@@eeriekekashi419 I am a Lakers fan, but bc of Barnes, I was rooting for the Raptors since we missed it. Him and Mobley are both going to have bright futures
He has sprinkles of Giannis, Kawhi, Magic, and Pippen in his game. When thinking about his future, the scary thing about Scottie is that not only can he dominate people with his strength and athleticism, but he also has legit guard skills like ball handling, playmaking and off the dribble jumpers, and he has incredible iq which you can’t teach. If he puts it all together, in which I think he will under the raptors organization, he’s got a real chance of being generational 💯💯
Crazy how he went from being a pretty poor free throw shooter in college, like 61% for his collegiate career or something like that, to shooting almost 74% as an NBA rookie.
Love everything about Scotties game.. the definition of a complete player. He plays with a team first mentality aswell, and when Scottie flips that switch he can score on anyone.. I’d like to see the raptors run more plays for him next season! Raps got a real gem on Their hands 🔥
Scottie Barnes averaged 35.4 Minutes,15.3 Points,7.5 Rebounds,3.5 Assists,49.2% Field Goals in 74 Games last season for the Toronto Raptors🔴⚫️⚪️🦖 He won Rookie of the Year 🏆
Good the nba has so many stars the literal roty and even others like Jalen Green,Cade,Mobley are getting overlooked when they are cornerstones for our leagues future
Scottie Barnes he’ll end as something like a prime Igoudala with less raw athleticism and more playmaking. He’s big, athletic, a plus defender, a decent shooter, and a good passer. He probably slots in as the third best player on a championship team
Raptors building something special with these almost exclusively 6’9 lineups. Ppl who think they have overlapping skillsets and need to move on from 1/2 of Scottie/Pascal/OG are in for a shock when Masai builds a contender with this 3 man core!
1st Scottie the goat 🐐 Barnes has great potential to be a all star 💫 in the near future he’s super versatile and a great young men and basketball player keep grinding 👿🐐🤫💫
The ideal modern PF. The height and temperament to bang when necessary and slide to the 5 against small opponents; the range and ballhandling to play the 3 or 4; the length to guard anybody. To me, basically a second chance at what Jabari Parker could have been, but much better defensively.
Jabari was a lot more refined offensively though, if you go back and watch his Wasserman predraft workout he was so explosive off the dribble. Scottie is almost like a baby deer still getting his legs underneath him, at times he looks a little clumsy and his footwork could definitely use some help. Would love to see him work with someone like Melo or Paul George this offseason, Kawhi obviously would be the dream since they're so close physically in size/build + Kawhi obviously knows the Raptors organization. Those guys could teach him a lot about how to be more economical with his athleticism and become more fast-twitch and explosive in his cuts and off the dribble moves.
Outside of Giannis and Embiid,(whom I consider legit bigs),Tatum,Barnes,And Banchero are gonna be the legit problem when it comes to young versatile Hybrid wings in the Eastern conference

from a late riser in the draft to rookie of the year, this man has unlimited ceiling mannn, proud of him !

LETSSS GOOOOOOO
Lol, OK, calm down with the legendary name drops. There are no Magic sprinkles in his game.
Too bad he’s going to Brooklyn
The absolute real deal.

What's a PF? Positionless basketball baby!! 🤣
@@bbwlc A PF is a guy who guards 4s. Regardless of the switching and offensive versatility, there are still defensive assignments.
@@urunclebwn I mean, sure, but he's like 20 years old. Jabari never really got better at anything. Injuries hindered that, I know

Tate doesn’t have the killer instinct and the “I want the ball more then you do” mentality
If he works on his scoring ability he can literally be the next kawhi for this raptors team
reminds me of kawhi...
Scottie b with the three
