Love the idea of wrapping the power cords around a handle, wish I'd thought of that. Also love the Biker Scout push sticker 😊

Lovely ideas... so much that I´m gonna have to steal some. I'm waiting for my magnet board to arrive, and hopefully, will finally find some tools when I need them. I´m still trying to organize the mess in my little workshop. Thank you!

I'm building my cleat wall right now. Great ideas. I had planned to wipe a finish on the cleats, but I like painting them too.

I love building these out! Someday I’ll get around to painting them, but I’m sure it’ll be a while!

The Only thing I would have done differently is to place the two items that have blades onto a higher French cleat and that's only because you have little finger's around that from this video it's obvious that they like to touch thing's. Saves time having to put plasters upon little fingers! It's alway's good to see what ideas other makers have for hanging their tools upon the French cleat system as I somehow alway's manage to find the most difficult way to do the simplest of jobs in this area. 👍

That’s the best part about the French cleat system, in that I can easily move the stuff around. And all of these have been moved many times, including to my new shop!

I my micro shop the things hanging on the wall get dusty so I use the French cleats for some things but most of the tools stay in drawers. Only high use things like drills and drivers, layout and measurement things etc are mounted on the wall. I do see the merit in locating some of the tools in an easier to access spot.

I do agree that things get dusty when not in drawers. But I love having my tools out where I can see them. Sometimes things are just out of site out of mind, but when I can always see everything and have it at arms reach I tend to use them more and make my life easier. If they get too dusty I just open the garage door and blow everything off with the leaf blower.

@dadcrafted leafblowers must be one of the woodworking maker's best purchases, probably one tool that gets the most frequent use!

You need a cleat for your personal protection gear ie. gloves, goggles, ear plugs, apron, etc.

I see this is a year old and understand if you do not respond. How did you determine the spacing between the cleats when you mounted them on the wall? My untrained eye seems to think the cleats would hold more and be more effective if they were closer together.

I pretty much based it on the amount of material I had and what would fit top to bottom. Some of the bigger holders will rest on the row beneath, and for smaller holders I just add a 3/4" block as a spacer at the bottom. If that makes sense...

What kind of dust mask do you use. Info please.

RZ Mask usually. Or an Amazon knockoff version of it.

show me how to make circular saw holder

I wished I had footage. I may remake that one though because the slope of mine is off and the saw barely wants to stay on there
