Up & Up

This is a brilliantly drawn comic strip by Shirley Hughes. A little girl is tempted by a small bird to fly. She tries different ways but each ends in failure. Then a giant chocolate egg is delivered by the postman. The girl eats some. It is a magic egg and the little girl can finally fly. Mischief follows as she flies out of the house and everywhere, determined never to be caught. But, in the end, the magic wears off and she is and is quite happy to return to the ground after here huge adventure. There is no dialogue - but then, none is needed.
