No law mandates the EFCC to obtain a statement from a suspect before prosecuting him or her. In fact, Yahaya Bello can stay mute from investigation to final judgement. It's his constitutional right to stay silent under S. 35 & 36 CFRN. However, the fact that he stays silent does not mean he cannot be convicted of the offence(a) charged.

I am an Aviator...... and, not a Lawyer. I absolutely know NOTHING about the law. But, let's check this situation out logically. First off, this matter started way back in 2015.... before Yahaya Bello even became Governor. Now, in 2015 Kogi State did not have "80 BILLION" for anyone to steal. And, why did it take 9 years to now try to bring this man to justice????? 9 years is more than enough time to have enough evidence against him......that is assuming he did steal 80 BILLION. 9 years of preparation to take this man "down"...... and the EFCC fucked up!!!?????
Yahaya Bello ( in my opinion) is not running from NOBODY. The court has ordered that he should NOT be arrested. There ain't no arrest warrant out for him. And the EFCC fumbled by not " inviting" him for questioning before pulling up at his house forcefully to arrest him. I have no idea if Yahaya Bello stole 80 BILLION or not.....but if he did, the EFCC are sure making it very easy for him to get off the "hooks".
And why are court orders not respected in Nigeria!!!!!!????? Why is Nnamdi Kalu still imprisoned??????..... there was a court order for him to be released several months ago.
I'll always be proud of my Nigerian heritage.....but the situation in Nigeria just sucks. There cannot be law and order if the Judiciary is not respected.
The Lawyer in this video has my respect 100%.

Why can't efcc, go and arrest Tinubu, Orji upon Kalu, Ikpazu, Akpabio , Uzodima, Obiano, Okaracha and the rest of them who also stole money from their respective states?

A really smart lawyer, quite rare these days. It's amazing to me how the EFCC repeatedly acts as though they do not have legal advisors who understand the way the law works.
