Yes you can have more than one critical path and that makes many activities critical, mean risk of delay is increases since any of these activity not completing on time can delay the project. For the critical path? What if we try to reduce the time by deploying more resources (material and personnel) or say from your example have someone else join the guy to finish the food on time? Is that possible?
