    At 57:08 Lawrence Krauss says that “light does travel in straight lines.” This is incorrect.
    It makes no difference what scale you talk about. If your assumptions or interpretations are wrong then your conclusions will be wrong and you’ll continue to remain confused.
    Luis, the answer to your question “How will we avoid destroying ourselves as a species?” is for humankind to have a unified theory.
    In order to have a unified theory, physicists must have an intimate understanding of the physics of light. Light must be understood as the one and only substance of the universe, of which all matter including space are conditions of this one substance. I believe if physicists start with this, we can make progress.

      Light is simply "as straight" as you can make something.
