The news has left Crawley fans saddened, but MK Dons fans over the moon. Lindsey is a manager with a high stock since his success with Crawley, and for us, has a bright future in the game.

If the owners sold off almost the entire squad I had built and achieved so much with, i'd have gone as well. The owners have behaved like the squad was a crop ready for harvest and I think they expected Scott to do that all over again which of course there was no guarantee!!

No one should blame Scott going. It's just a poor way WAGMI is dealing with situations like selling key players letting Scotty & coaching staff just walk away to easily, looking at it from outside point of view, communication is key and without that you create an absolute S**T show which is what we are experiencing again when they let key influential players go in the summer, the hard work that was put in to turn this club from the brink, to getting them promoted back to League 1, to then rip the heart out of this club will never understand it unless their going to be transparent and communicating with the fans, all that hard work gone to THE S*****, I'll be amazed if we don't get relegated, let hope we don't end up like Forest Green

As a Dons supporter of many years, I was genuinely pleased that Crawley were doing so well. The league needs smaller clubs to improve. You would have tested us and other teams to see where we and others were going wrong and also standing a chance of getting promoted to league 1.
I didn't know your owners sold the promotion team off! Its all about money today unfortunately!
On the other hand, your loss is our gain, and looking at our performance against Harrogate, Scott definitely has the winning mentality which we`ve missed since Karl Robinson left all those years ago.
I hope you get another coach like Scott and see you in the league.

@philipkelly85 His style is risky. If it goes wrong, you're very exposed, but by heck, it's rewarding when it goes right. You literally rip teams apart

As a Wrexham fan…I thought Crawley was one of the better teams to visit Cae Ras in a long time…he sets him teams up brilliantly, just missing a couple of strikers…be a big loss to you guys…

@phildavies, totally agree, if anything that result was a wake up call for Wrexham. As a Dons fan I was hoping Williamson was the man to take them up, but the tippy tippy football in there own box did for them, and there was no plan B
