Marvin was a great singer, but a young man name October London sounds very close and is good too
Honestly as a musician myself this brother was definitely a hell of a singer because he did this song I believe it's Key of E major and he is in high range for the male voice and this isn't a comfortable range for the average male voice. U can't hear no struggles he sounds so comfortable singing it. Trust me sound engineers and record Co would have shot that down way before and finalizing engineering would have heard this. Lol he just sung that bitch and reached to grab those notes but of marv did that. And I thought it was a total difference person at the end of the song dam. He changed his voice. That's amazing shit. Another thing that tripped me out was he started out as drummer someone discovered Marvin and his voice so if that opportunity wouldn't have presented itself he would have probably be like a lot of stars walking around here today who has talent but just hasn't been discovered and probably think they wouldn't get anywhere. And then heard it thru the grapevine Is in Eb (flat) minor and he blow the doors off of that song.... Wow... Ol Marvin u a bad brother
