Priceless footage thank you for sharing
magnificent. this was the 1st season my dad took me watching preston.
Preston north end!the original footballing superpower!what a team!that's a big crowd!it's hard to believe.brian Moore is nearly fifteen years younger than I am now!he always seemed like an older gentleman, from the old England, who. didn't look elderly but like somebody.who would always be older than you, whatever age that you would become it's so strange when that happens,it nearly always seems to be men it's hard to believe that he'd gone.he was just a legend!
Great to see all that lovely terracing at the old Roots Hall.
Wow, very good find..@ 2-20 ''Morley'' mentioned a few times.
Of course, that's Tony Morley who was integral in the Aston Villa
team which won the first Division title in 1981 and then the finest
moment in the club's history winning the European cup in 1982.
A Villa legend.
Tony Morley, later to star for Aston Villa, during their glory period of the early 1980s, while he also would appear for England.
Went downhill for PNE soon after , had a bad run in and finished 9th ,
WTF was Webster up to on that corner!?
Should have stayed on his line for an easy catch.
Essex clubs Southend and Colchester both aping Ipswich colours
More like Chelsea, Ipswich never wore white socks.
