She's actually the one that went after her boyfriend - he was weak and cheated on Jessica. Then she left and went to Cali where she met her friend Daniel. Love all the ohio (Cleveland) themes. Chief wahoo would've been in there but that's where Dolan caved and they became - the bridge people. I love the bridge - but I'm done with the team. I grew up with the tribe in that old stadium. Then Mike Barnes (Sean kanan) is also from northeast Ohio. I think shaker hts.
no offense to Kreese, but Silver is the better villain. And Thomas Griffith is a much better actor than Martin Kove. Griffith feels like an actual hollywood villain.
@JNB0723 silver is the better villain because he is a villain, got the whole world domination mindset. Kreese is just a arrogant and harsh sensei lol.
Honestly, Amanda had a pretty good point. Going over the past seasons, it always felt like there was no real end to Daniel’s beef with Cobra Kai and its senseis. First, it was Johnny. Then it was Kreese. And now it was Silver. And all of it came with their daughter getting attacked at school and in their own home, their business suffering, a creep playing mind games and the like. The whole thing must have been exhausting.
I loved the fight between Robby and Miguel! Fun fact: after watching videos with the cast, both actors (Tanner and Xolo) said the fight in season 5 at the apartment was their favorite fight between them ❤😊
Yeah. But I have to say, a part of me wishes that the show could’ve given their rivalry more attention, before ending it. I feel like their rivalry was thrown to the wayside for the Sam and Tory rivalry.
@@Kayoss13212 bro there rivalry literally started from season 1 n lasted till season 5 n audience was literally tired of miguel and robby constantly fighting how much more seasons do u want there rivalry to go like 10 seasons?

Even as friends, I still want to see them fight. They have great fight chemistry, both as a team and vs each other. Like Chozen and Johnny, just fight because why not? Very Goku-Vegeta vibes, but that's probably just me 😅
Johnny and his plans will never fail to amaze anybody.. but they surprisingly work.. with this fight between Robby and Miguel.. such a great scene and the fight with Terry Silver and Daniel I love it, wild how it takes someone from Daniel’s past to make Amanda realize how serious and of a threat Silver is.
I think it's not just the threat of Terry Silver but how the fight at the bar started. As much as Amanda talks about lettings things go, she still snapped back and took the bait just from them needling one point from her past. And then seeing how quickly it spiraled into that same person willing to cause her harm over something so petty. She honestly needed that for perspective: it's easy from the sidelines to say "just let it go" or "ignore it and be the bigger person" until you're literally in that situation, and Daniel has been in it with *far* worse and far more insidious characters than some random bar bitch heckling her. It was even a message Miguel had to learn about his father, firsthand, to truly understand and bring the rest of things in his life into focus.
I’ve heard this show described as the best Star Wars show and that feels accurate 😂 Let’s see if Johnny and Daniel can save the youth of the Valley from the Dark Side of Karate!
It was high time that Robby and Miguel finally buried the hatchet, but they didn't half make us worried a little there. Daniel however, he lost his balance and fell right into Silver's trap, them long legs are always a danger. For Amanda though we learn more of her wild side alluded to last season, and also how she met Daniel, she was the cousin of Jessica Andrews - the girl from Part III. Got a little bit of a wrestling connection in this episode too, since Stingray is singing Fozzy's 'Judas', fronted by AEW's Chris Jericho. AEW and Cobra Kai did a bit of cross promotion, Martin Kove appeared a few times, and Paul Walter Hauser did get involved in a ROH PPV one time on the behalf of Dalton Castle. Silver does have lofty ambitions though, and that requires him to have goons of the adult variety. He also strikes an alliance with the granddaughter of his and Kreese's old master, and they manage to recruit Denise - who Tory takes under her wing. But we get the Chozen/Johnny teamup. Kreese's therapy scene was great too.

Including his movies. Now he will hug the kids like a real father does. To me that's so sweet. His kids have made cameos in cobra kai. You'll see Julia again soon
Robby’s explanation wasn’t great. He said he wanted to finish the fight but it was done; Miguel had him beat and then stopped fighting as he said sorry. Kreese and Silver trained under the same master; the Military guy sent them both to go train. This was in the same scene where he found out Kreese girl died.

I started taking Taekwondo classes at age 11 and much like the Cobra Kai/Miyagi Do philosophies, I was able to find some level of balance and became in love with the sport. It gave me more confidence, kept me cool and calm in tough situations which do require cool, calm, and calculated actions to help my quick fight or flight feelings massively. Watching Cobra Kai and hearing the "No Mercy" mantra brought back a lot of memories from my Taekwondo and through looking at it from an inside perspective I can relate to Hawk's season one character who fans predicted him for being on the spectrum or developed traits of ADHD, but with the right instructors to motivate us normal agitated teenagers to start feeling power and acceptance. I was given a special new interest which I took very seriously much like Kenny, Miguel, Hawk, Daniel, and Dimitri and with the right father figures I was able to take advantage of my Neurodivergence to become a well decent prodigy on the clarinet and a formidable 3rd Degree Black Belt.
Funny enough, Johnny has actually became more of a sensei Johnny than Daniel became a Sensei Daniel. Johnny might have been heavily influenced by Kreese, he didn't became a Kreese clone when it comes to teaching. While Daniel's teaching still feels like Miyagi.
