- In this Blender tutorial we will create this procedural clay material. This material looks great on a digital sculpt, to make it look like its made of clay.

Thanks for the tutorial and all you do for this community 👍
You're very welcome!
Amazing!! It's incredible how literally every single tutorial of yours is so easy to understand, and also the fact that your tutorials are like literally the most useful things- not just any random tutorial! Great job! :D 😊🥳 👏
Thanks! Glad they are useful and easy to understand!
@@RyanKingArt :D
Thank you Again For all this knowledge!! learned about reroutes! very cool.
Thanks for watching!
This is a really good material Ryan King Art. It looks Amazing!
Thanks!
Thank you so much. A very good tutorial
You are welcome!
Your videos are really great because you explain everything very nicely and even though the materials are like a bit complicated but you make that easier to understand as well
It's really awesome ✨💙
Glad to hear that. Thanks for watching!
@@RyanKingArt ❤️✨
Really nice shader
I also like the way you created different color schemes. That's neat move
Keep it up
Thank you so much 😀
What a great tutorial! You're a genius
glad you like it!
Amazing video, thank you so much!!
Glad you like it!
i use an alpha for finger prints.... very interesting way.... i will try like that too.... another material in my asset .... thank you Ryan!
Thanks for watching!
Great stuff as always. Thanks for this!
Also, as i requested before, can you make a tutorial on hard transparent plastic material (Cycles) for bottles?
Thanks 👍
When do we get procedural poop lol ...seriously though, this was a great one. Loved seeing the whorls and indents in the clay, I basically warped a cube and it looks crazy awesome with that semi dry wet variation to represent clay freshness!
Thanks!
Hi, thanks for you tuto, so great, just have a issue, my mesh is all black, I did exactly the same thing as you, I don't understand
This is so useful! I wish I knew how to use this process to create a procedural material for velvet. My brain doesn't quite wrap around what would be necessary for that.
Maybe I can make a video on that sometime. Thanks!

Thanks! Yes, I totally want to do some Procedural Cloth and Fabric materials sometime. 👍
Great video!
Thanks!
Great
Thank you!
These tutorials are fantastic, thank you! What would you suggest to add for some thumbnail marks and maybe cracks in the clay? I think that would really sell the effect even more.
Thanks! Maybe I can make another tutorial sometime on procedural fingerprints.
@@RyanKingArt would be great!
Hi there Keep posting, great video,
I have purchased the project file as a support for you 🤠
thank you for you're support!
Looks cool! can be used for 3d printing i guess ?
I don't think materials will effect 3d printing, but the head sculpt could be printed.
👍👍👍
Thanks! 😀
Love the vid. Do you have any video on simple noob way to create Models ?
Simple monster or human models ?
Wanted to create my own animated models, but really cant find anything useful ..
Thanks for the vid !!
Thanks. I don't have any videos on that, but thanks for the video idea.
@@RyanKingArt Okay thanks. Have a nice day :)
😍😍
Thank you!
1:56 just use a circle and fill it, or an area light.
Sure, that works too. 👍
I am going completely nuts with blender since I cantfigute out to JUST ADD material... I am trying to add material to a flat surface and literally all the sculpting tools push thru the opposite surface. I am trying for hours now to just add a blob to one side of my flat part, but always end up with a dent on the other side....
Meanwhile every single tutorial uses a ball, which does not answer my questions at all :(
tried your tutorial and to some extent with succee, but with at least several not yet seen actions youw showed. Kan I send you, show you MY screenshot?
Yes you can send me screenshots, and I will try to help.
Great but, why Schwab? Lol
What do you mean by Schwab?
