I just ordered duplicates of them because I love them so much :) they did ship from China though!

I was missing an item from one of my orders from over the summer and reached out to TLC about it, not only did they confirm what went wrong and apologize, they gave me a full refund plus a $15 gift card to put towards my next purchase. Absolutely wonderful!

I'm always terrified to buy long sleeve OPs because of my wide shoulders. I always imagine it like in A Christmas Story, I can get in it, but I can't put my arms down.
Just a quick tip. How well you can raise your arm and it not be restricted is not only affected by the width of your shoulders but also how high or low the arm hole is. In historical clothing the arm holes are very fitted to allow a greater range of motion. It sounds like the opposite of how it should be but this is illustrated really well by modern mens suits. If you look a pics of men waiving in a suit they usually can't raise their arm more than a few inches above the shoulder line. That is because the excess material in the arm pit is pulling on the lower portion of the arm hole seam. The problem with range of motion in lolita could be 2 fold for many lolitas. The back might be the right width but the arm hole is the wrong size. A well fitting arm hole can be one to one and a half inches below the arm pit for best range of motion. Our clothes don't usually need to account for this since they are made of stretch material so it is a very much forgotten science.
I made my first order last night! Not really because of this video, but rather, I found a ton of cute accessories to go with my very first OP a few weeks ago (Angelic Pretty's Dreamy Parfait in sax!), and I was so worried that they would be sold out if people watched your episode and then went shopping lol! I love all the accessories they have. There is so much stuff that's $1 also?! I got some rings, lace gloves, and earrings. My only complaint is that shipping is $23, but as a lolita, I understand that paying for shipping is part of the budgeting process lol. Stay well Lor!

Most of the seller with the collective are drop shipping these days so a lot of it wont come from Chicago. They will ship out what they have in stock from Chicago though.

In the beginning you said they were very size inclusive, which got me very excited as almost no where is. But I cannot find any size inclusive on their website, which was quite disappointing. Their stock is quite low currently as there have been lots of mail delays this year and they just had some very big sales but they do carry brands with size ranges and it's important to follow them to keep up to date when they do have stock of it! I'm sorry I don't have a lot of resources as I live in Canada. I have heard Violet Fane Shop (Spain) and Lady Sloth Shop (Poland) have good shipping to UK. There are many other sites that will ship there but their fees might be high. I don't know of any based in the UK but possibly someone else in the comments will!
First, my first dress is The Rival from Baby Ponytail and it is so gorgeous. The custom sizing fit pretty well, though I think that maybe she should have asked for more measurements as the bodice is a bit short and it is common for people with big boobs to need a longer bodice as they get larger. Overall, I love it, though. I will say, I do find Lolita Collective a bit difficult to navigate as a U.S. plus sized person. Many of the pluses only go to actual standard U.S. sizes but that may just be the hazards of stocking international pieces. They do have really nice accessories, though and I need to remember them for that.

I know this video is a couple years old, but anyone who’s watching it, Devil inspired this is my personal experience with them. I purchased around $150 worth of product for myself from Devil inspired three months ago. Since then I am was not contacted until I contacted them, and then they let me know that the majority of the products I ordered were out of stock. Then when I asked them to do me the favor and replace the products with other products, and they said that was OK I was very happy. Especially because I was thinking about purchasing other products already and they just seemed to be communicative, if really slow, so I wasn’t super concerned at the moment. But as soon as they confirmed that they told me I needed to pay an extra amount which I did, then they told me I no longer needed to pay that extra amount because more products were out of stock, so I asked them to refund it, which they have not done to this day. And then I asked them when the products would ship, to which they told me they would ship within the next week. I wait 10 days I asked them again, then they said please be patient it’ll ship soon. Fast forward an additional whole month, I asked them what’s going on again they said please be patient it will ship soon but some products may be out of stock. So far I’ve not received any of my products, and when I asked them if I could just be refunded at this point, they told me that I would only be refunded 80% of my products purchase price. They said they would charge a 20% restocking fee. This is absolutely unacceptable, everything keeps being out of stock, and it honestly feels as though they’re just trying to take as much money from me as possible not give me anything, and use policy to say everything needs a restocking fee. Very disappointed. As a newbie Lolita who was trying to prepare for my first meet up this was kind of devastating.
