@@bryans5339 Being that they both share the same cab and a lot of other things can’t really say if one is better than the other. The 2 major differences are the front axle placement and the hoods . Visibility is definitely better with the T880, but the W990 has a aggressive look and I love the limited edition interior in my truck.

I love the color, large tires and most importantly, Andy's professionals work. I just wonder, why would anybody, even a single soul, choose W990 over W900. I know there won't be no W900 to choose soon, but come on, it is Capitalism, people are supposed to be free and have choices.
@Shaelon Dekok that's exactly what makes me wonder. Capitalist economies are "market driven" and focused to deliver whatever the customer wants, regardless of anything else. This is confusing
I know this is old, hut maybe it could be fuel costs with aerodynamics snd such. Or it could be because of California’s strict laws, which this truck passes.
Sorry, I'm not a fan of the 990. I am sure this is where Kenworth is going. But I am a 900 fan and owner of a 22 w900. They are not built very well anymore. The stainless steel rusted in the first 3 days!! It took a full year to get the clutch brake fixed. It was wrong from the factory and I couldn't get a single dealer to fix it. The techs all said it was in specifications The plastic inside the cab has broken. I lost the entire month of November in the shop for an oil cooler for the second time in one year!! It's brand new!! No, follow through from Kenworth / Paccar. Cummins covered their warranty but losing a month of revenue kicked my year end in the crapper. I don't know that I will ever purchase another Kenworth. I have been out here for almost 40 years. I have never seen a bigger lemon. I guess you can see they really cheaped themselves out of customers!!
Something inside me wants to like the w990 , I mean it's a Kenworth so of course I like it. But knowing that somewhere in the Kenworth corporation there is a nerdy little engineer just waiting for the chance to kill our beloved W900, so that fans my dislike for it .

Yes!! A extended day cab like the W900 has wound have been perfect! I’m surprised that they haven’t done something in regards to that.

I would guess a new one with all of the bells and whistles would be $75,000.00 to $100,000.00 USD.
