Glad you liked it and that we met your expectations, Katie! Tbh, we were a bit surprised to hear concerns about our ability to render watercolor kits. They're not as challenging as Josephine Wall or Chuck's landscapes. 😅 This rumor, I think, started about 5 years ago with our not-so-great Tangled render, which Tiny Worlds of Wonder reviewed. Back then, we were just starting out, and honestly, our rendering quality wasn’t the best. Also, TWW prefers computer renders, which are obviously very different from our hand rendering style. Nowadays, very few people like computer renders, and most premium companies, like us, hand render. But hey, we did discontinue Tangled immediately after seeing that review. It was pretty bad! Now, the main challenges we face are more about dark skin colors due to the limited DMC color palette. We're excited to be introducing our own colors to improve this. Sky gradients can be tricky too. We used to be pretty average at rendering faces until a couple of years back, but since hiring a fantastic senior pixel artist, we've really upped our game, ensuring faces in our diamond paintings are as perfect as possible. We're super happy you loved the kit and that it did justice to Margaret's artwork. We're looking forward to releasing more great kits like this! 😊
Have you guys ever thought about going back to popular kits you've had for a long time and re-render them with the team and special drills you now offer? I think that would be really cool!
This is such a beautiful kit! I’m sad I skipped on it when it first released but I’m definitely going to try and snag one when it gets restock. Thanks for sharing Katie!
I got this kit also. I’m impressed how fast u can get DP done. I work on mine 8 hours plus a day and can’t be any faster than 2 weeks or longer. I know it’s not a race but your speed is unbelievable
I’ve been binge watching your videos all day! I haven’t started my very first canvas yet from DAC since it’s my first time doing a large canvas. I’m watching more videos and building up more confidence before I plunge in. I’m absolutely eyeing this one whenever it comes back in stock. Thanks for sharing! She is so beautiful! 😊🌺🐉
I personally think DAC did an amazing job. They have improved so much in their rendering lately, they have impressed me. They used to do awful job with faces but now they are really really good! (most of the times at least). They captured the softness of the watercolors but still keeping their signature rendering so well. They also used the special drills wonderfully. Honestly, respect to their design team. I'm so glad I broke my no buy to get the margaret morales kits. Thanks for this post review!
When I saw the preview unboxing of this I knew I had to get it! I can't wait to work on her! I also got my first custom pen that matches this canvas from Leopard Leatherworks!
Wow she is beautiful! I love how that came out and I hope they decide to restock the painting. I haven’t gotten to placing them yet but I finally got a kit with fairy dust which is exciting I couldn’t really make much out of them when I was kitting up but I’m looking forward to seeing what effect that gives since I know they’re your favorite.
Honestly I really don’t often like people in my paintings. But the more I look at this artist’s work the more I’m drawn to it. May have to have some of her work.
Thank you for this review. I think that she came out beautifully. I hope to purchase her on a re-stock. I wasn't able to get this one when introduced. But, I am very glad to see the post review and your comments are good regarding this art work. Thank you for the thorough review.
OMG!!! It’s absolutely stunning,… amazing,… so sparkly!!!! I love this one!!! 💕💕💕 Now I think that I need a sugar daddy to buy all this great images.😻😻😹😹😹🤣🤣🤣
So pretty! Love the special drills and the colors teals and aquas! Would pass in this though and wait for next MM paintings with pinks purples. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for such concise, thoughtful reviews of products. I've only been DPing for about two weeks but I can't wait to dive in deeper. And your reviews help me decide where to spend my money!
Thank you for sharing! This painting is one I picked out for a Christmas gift (for myself). It was your sneak peek that put her on my list. Will be starting her in the new year. Sneak peeks work! I didn’t know I wanted her until I watched your unboxing. The special drills…..oh my!
This is a beautiful painting. Im not sure why I have heard that more than one person has said they were a little concerned about how this may render. DAC has done watercolor types before with Anne-Julie Aubry like with Moonlight Bride and they knocked it outta the part that time too. I believe her paintings were the first Ive heard called water color type. I havent done any of Anne-Julie's canvases but I remember you post reviewed midnight bride for a Drills and Chill. That painting turned out beautiful as well.

I am working on this painting as we speak. I love it. Interestingly enough I ran out of color 841, but I had my own extras.

Very good points! They’ve definitely done a nice job with softer artwork in the past, too 🥰
@@DiamondsandWashi Thank you. I always remember your post reviews!
