- How to bling your chocolate covered strawberries!
Like a lot of the dusts on the market, the glitter used in the video is non-toxic. It is not FDA approved because it has no nutritional value. I have consumed these glitter berries numerous times. If you choose not to, that’s perfectly fine! 🙃

Bomb i made this for a winter wonderland party. My client loved them.
That's exactly what brought me to this video. I'm having a winter wonderland party soon. Any other suggestions?
Where do y'all find those big beautiful strawberries? Do y'all order them on Line or purchase them from local growers.
Sam’s club!
Thank you very much. Blessings
No problem! Blessings to you too!
So, can people eat the glittered strawberries or not?
lol
So pretty!!
Thank you! 😊
Where did you get your sprinkles from? Or did you mix different sprinkles together?
Can this done two weeks prior to an event ?
No, day of or day before at the earliest for strawberries.
Wow.... these are so pretty. Thank you for sharing 💕
I'm currently selling chocolate covered strawberries, pretzels, etc. So I'm loving your channel!!
This was awsome, u are a fabulous creative and instructor
Thank you
How far does one container of glitter go?
They are beautiful
Thank you! 😊
This video helps a lot! I'm wondering though was that small glitter jar enough to cover all those strawberries?
Yes! A little goes a long way! Thank you for watching!
So neat & clean. Pretty berries 💜💜
Thank you!! 💕
Beautiful work!!
Amazing work! Beautiful ❤️
Thank you! ☺️
Is the glitter edible? If so, what brand.. Love ur work...Thanks for the videos.
Hello! Thank you so much! 😊 It’s non-toxic but not FDA approved. The link is in the description.
Wait so can you eat the ones with glitter on them???
It’s non-toxic.
Question and it may be a silly one but can they sit out over night and not sweat and will putting them in the fridge destroy them?
Thank you so much for sharing.. ❤️ Just subscribed(: How do store them ? Do you keep them at room temperature or refrigerate them so they won’t sweat ? Can you make theme in advance?
Thank you so much!! 💕 Sorry for the delayed response...my channel was hacked and I just got it back! 😩 If they’re being picked up shortly, I leave them out in an air conditioned room, otherwise I store them in the fridge. I don’t make strawberries in advance. I make the the day of so they’re as fresh as possible. I’ve had people buy them a day before their event and store them in the fridge. I just tell them to take the out an hour before.
@@DamenicaJ So if they store them in the fridge and take them out an hour before what does this help with? I've been wanting to know what the best way to store is so they dont sweat
This was so helpful!
Where can you find those sprinkles 😍?
I wish I could still find them myself! Try Etsy for sprinkle mixes.
Do you buy regular strawberries from the local grocery store or do you buy them special from some place else?
Hi . What brand chocolate do you use to cover your strawberries? I tried candy melts..did not come out nice and smooth. Are you suppose to let chocolate cool for a little before dipping???
New subbie! Thinking of starting a side hustle making chocolate covered berries. This video is inspiring and thank you for sharing your links and answering questions. I've gotten a lot of valuable info sis. THANK YOU!🍓🍓🍓
@@DamenicaJ , you truly ROCK beautiful lady!!! 😘
How much should you charge for a dozen of glitter berries
How do you keep your strawberries from sweating?? Or has that ever happened to you?
Oh ok thank you for your input I will let you know how that goes. I was thinking about selling them but I’m kind of skeptical now.
I wonder the same
these are so Beautiful
Thank you so much! ☺️
These are so pretty
Thank you! ☺️
If the glitter isn't edible, what do you do with the strawberries afterwards?
I eat them.
so pretty 🥰✨✨💕
I was wondering if i can use a regular chocolate instead of white chocolate and get the same results ?
Yes, regular chocolate works also!
Hello i have a few questions. How far in advance can you make these for an event and how should they be stored. What do you put them in for transportation and when displayed do I leave them out or should i put them in small clear pastry bags
I tried this adding glitter to the wet lines but it smeared in with the whole berry. The berry itself was dry but I don't understand why it smeared in with the berry
Not sure why it would stick to the chocolate that wasn’t wet. The only thing I can think of is maybe the brush you were using could’ve been rubbing it into the chocolate. Did you use a dusting brush to remove the excess glitter?
Hi! I am just getting started making treats. I am having a hard time pricing but the materials are so expensive. Especially, when it comes to adding glitter and sprinkles. Just want to know, how much would you charge for a dozen of mixed strawberries like you've done in this video? Also, how do u calculate pricing others? I know I am putting you on the spot. It is hard to get people to share their pricing with fellow designers. I am hoping you don't mind.
@@DamenicaJ has this way worked for you? Being that for example you charge $10 for 4....but buying your materials come out way more expensive than what your charging...wheres the profit here? For chocolate covered glitter strawberries for example....you have to buy chocolate, the glitter and other material that can easily become a bit pricey with glitter alone. Just dont see how this way is accurate. You have to price by material your using, hourly wage, utilities if needed , etc.
I charge $15 per dozen for basic strawberries and they go up from there. $20 for mixed and $25 for the decorative berries.
@@DamenicaJ People really do...lol. I had to put a disclosure on my page to let ppl know that my prices are my prices. They are not cheap, but they are worth it. l charge what I charge to bring them quality. I have yet to get an individual order for strawberries, but I think I will after I finish this treat table for a prom send off this Friday. They will be gorgeous because of your video. Thanks so much!
I love your videos, I am just getting started. Thank you!
Very pretty
Those are gorgeous
Thank you! ☺️
Thank you~
Thanks for sharing
You are my new fav !!! I love your channel I’m a new sub!!! I have a question I made strawberries and I had a lot of liquid on my cupcake holders. What should I do to prevent my strawberries from sweating?
Aww 🥰 thank you so much! ☺️ There’s actually not a whole lot you can do to prevent the sweating, but to cut down on it, I make them the day of the event. I also keep them at room temperature after dipping up until they are picked up. Sometimes making them in advance and storing them in the fridge is unavoidable, but that’s when they really sweat.
I didn't see the link for the sprinkles
Hey guys, I just started my channel on chocolate covered sweets and I'm so excited :)
Congrats!
You are a life saver!!! I wanted to do something special for a bridal shower ❤ I think this will be perfect!!!
Glad I could help! 💕
Do the berries still taste like the white chocolate or is the taste effected by the glitter?
It’s tasteless 😊
Wow so beautiful
Thank you!! ☺️
Lovely
Does that particular chocolate harden?
have you eaten these with the nontoxic glitter?
good to know! they're absolutely beautiful tho....
Im guessing it has the same texture as eating sand lol
😍😍😍😍😍How many strawberries can you cover with that size jar?
I haven’t really paid attention. A little goes a very long way. If you’re using it just on the drizzle, I’ve probably gotten 3-4 dozen out of one. I’ll check that soon and update you!
@@DamenicaJ thank you for your reply ♡
No problem!
Hi . Do you know by any chance why some people use edible glue to wipe on strawberries after they dry to make glitter stick? If the glitter already sticks when the chocolate is wet?
@@DamenicaJ lol. Thanks
Good night! I love your video I subscribed to your channel ❤️ but I do have a question or 2, how do you store your strawberries after coated? In fridge or leave them in air conditioned room? Also do u soak your berries in juice over night? I saw that on Pinterest n wondered if that actually works? TY
Thank you so much! I usually store them in an air conditioned room unless they’re not going to their intended destination for a long while, then I store them in the fridge. No, I’ve never soaked my berries overnight. If you ever try that, let me know what you think! Thanks for watching and for the sub! 😊
Hey any brush will work for the glitter removal?
No, you need a dusting brush. It needs to be a fluffy, soft brush. I’m sure a new makeup brush would work also. I have a Wilton dusting brush in the list of supplies in the description box.
pretty. have you tried to apply on a dry berry. i am not a fan of the texture. on chocolate you can apply dry and smooth with a soft brush.
Hi Paconot what is a dry berry
Sheila Davis I think they mean when the chocolate dries and you “paint” the glitter on the strawberry
White chocolate brand are you using I use Welton and people did not like the taste of it what are you recommend?
I use Nestle White Chocolate chips
How long till you brush the extra off? I'm afraid I'll brush the stripes off as well.
Little Fifths you can tell when the chocolate is dry, but it should be fine after about 15 minutes.
I'm a beginner and I made some for a client, with the drizzle but I didn't wipe off all the excess glitter I kinda just shook it out and now that I think about it. It looked messy 🥺😞 how I wish I could go back 😫
You live and you learn! We are our own worst critics! I’m sure your clients didn’t think they looked messy. 😊
They are beautiful! I'm going to try these with actual edible glitter. I have a great shop I use on Etsy for mine. How long does it take to fully dry before you can use them?
@@DamenicaJ awesome! Gonna try it. I was told by a baker if it doesn't list the ingredients it's not edible. The one I use is made of guar gum and gelatin. It's definitely not as beautiful and shiny as your glitter strawberries are but I bake for kids and they love fruit covered stuff and it's cheaper than buying Edible Arrangements so just looking to change things up a bit for the kiddos. Thanks so much for replying! 😊😊
@@DamenicaJ Also... The majority of FDA approved is not 100% safe so I wouldn't have any issue eating your products ❤️😊 I'll stop by your shop soon!
@@DamenicaJ I know I said I wasnt going to dip no more, for your boxes try brpboxes, papermart.com, Nashville wraps, uline. If I find anymore i'll let you know
@Q Brock what store on Etsy do you shop for your edible glitter?
Q Brock what store on Etsy do you shop for your edible glitter?
I like the DIY... But I wish we could order these in Denver also
Gorgeous. Thank you for sharing.
Can you tell us how you got your chocolate so thin. Mines would’ve been clumpy after applying glitter
Damenica thank you so much I missed that part sorry I thought it was the special cup that helped. Thank you for sharing this! Not a lot of people are like u , they swear it’s the krabby patty formula and don’t want to inform others lol
Not considered edible but u used it?
Yes, I eat them also.
I tried it but the glitter will not come off? Any tip?
Hello! You want to make sure you’re using a dusting brush specifically. Any brush will not work. Lightly dust it away. Sometimes you need to dust from a different direction if you notice it’s not coming off good. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
This looks so good I wish I could get some fro you
☺️
I love all ur videos 😍
Can u do more kids bday themes and a drip cake
How did you get the chocolate so thin that it’s easier to dip
What type of spoon did you use for the sprinkles ?
@@DamenicaJ can u make some for my party
Beautiful
Tried the glitter squiggle and the excess glitter wouldn't come off smh. Wonder what I did wrong?
You want to make sure the chocolate is completely dry and you have to be using a dusting brush. If it’s not a dusting brush, it will actually press the glitter into your chocolate. Your brush needs to be completely dry also. Dust it off lightly, not too firm. Hope that helps!
Beautiful love it❤️
damn look so good
Loveeee it!
Thank you! ☺️
Beautiful I like it how much would you charge for a small box like that?
Thank you! For glitter berries, $15 for a box with a half dozen, $30 for a dozen.
Look deli
Delish
Yummy!
These are soooo beautiful!!! I’m leaving a comment and going straight to Amazon to buy the glitter!!! And I’ve already subbed to your channel!!
The consumption of non toxic glitter is so minimal that it’s not harmful. I’m not sure what the fuss is all about. If you wear lipstick, it’s said that you consume about 3 lbs in your lifetime just by licking your lips/eating with it on. It’s non toxic But I wouldn’t snack on a tube a day.
Besides... y’all be puttin dirty weewee in your mouth but hound this beautiful woman over a sprinkle of glitter. ...Lol - you can delete this comment, just though I would throw it out there lol
💀💀💀💀😂😂😂😂
Not the dirty weewee 😂 but fr these people consume toxic stuff on the daily but all of a sudden it’s a problem when it comes to glitter which ain’t even a lot
Newbie here love your work 🙌🏾
Thank you so much! 💕 Sorry for the delayed response, my channel was hacked and I just got it back! 😩
You did a beautiful job with these strawberries look very yummy. Where did you purchase the pearl mix you use.
Yea I looked but I want the same exact ones you used looks so pretty.
Ok ❤️ keep up the beautiful work that you do.
How do you get your chocolate to flow and stay wet without it drying so fast?
Im not minding my business, but you could also try adding a little bit of vegetable shortening like Crisco to your candy melts to thin it out a little bit. Its the best! It doesnt compromise the taste either. You dont need a lot
Thanks ladies
Lovely work! How did you package the berries? I love that!
Beautiful, what type of brush is that and where can I buy it
@@DamenicaJ I like that brush also.
If there not edible then what’s the purpose of dipping them in chocolate. They look ver pretty that’s about it. 🤷🏻♀️
Because the glitter is non-toxic so they were in fact consumed. They were delicious also!
These berries look amazing!! 😍👌🏽😍
Beautiful!!
Ok so edible glitter can be pricey. How many strawberries were you able to cover before finishing that bottle of glitter?
How many bottles would someone need to cover like six strawberries? Fully coated in glitter?
In this tutorial how many strawberries did you have and how much glitter did you use and/or was needed?
@@DamenicaJ wow. Thanks
Thank you for this beautiful DIY strawberry tatourail. You are trully Blessed.☺🙌✌
