This case in particular I had to use new Goodyear tires which they sent me to use as part of the contract. All of my other tire sculptures are 100% recycled tires.

I actually send them off to get fiberglassed however it is a fairly simple process. You basically just put some resin on the sculpture, lay down your fiberglass and then brush on more resin so it penetrates the cloth. Then just wait for everything to cure. In tight curved areas you would use thinner, fiberglass scraps.
This is insane to watch , definitely the most spectacular display of craftsmanship I have seen

Thank you! Goodyear donates them to both schools. They now reside on the campuses of Penn State and Memphis U.
