You should make a gear profession or BIS video for each combat style for 1 defs. Not any vids on TH-cam that I’ve found

@@Speshal This would be a fantastic idea!!! I currently have a 1 def pure and there is almost nowhere that tells you all the bis items for 1 def pure (without looking each style up individually and looking at items yourself)

I’d also like to see 1 defence boss guides such as Abyssal Sire or Kalphite Queen. Most of these guides on youtube are outdated.
I can make these guides, however, there really is no efficient way to kill either of these bosses with 1 defense. Even with BIS pure gear, it's still difficult.
@@SpeshalThat's true for sure. At the moment i'm grinding out Abyssal Sire for expample. I found the way to kill him pretty easy as a pure. With max mage and sang + blood spells i can do multiple kills each trip. Might be better with shadow. Wiki strategy guide says magic is pretty worse, but based on my experience so far I can tell its not even too bad.
For Kalphite Queen I still havent found the best way to kill it. Most annoying thing is the far distance you have to travel to the Kalphite Queen. From Al Kharid Castle to the Shanty Pass, with 2 ropes each trip for the Kalphite cave with a long distance walk tot the Queen herself. But if theres a way for multiple kill trips or something it might be a lil better.
@@RoidRage89 I'll have to try out using a Shadow staff on Sire once I get an Abyssal Task.
As for KQ, I am only able to get 1-2 kills a trip solo. Like you said, I think the worst part about doing KQ is the long walk it takes to get there. It's unfortunate that pure's can't do the diary requirement to use the shortcut to get into the KQ lair.

80-82 attack for end game pure? Or 50-60 I was gonna do 50 until I unlock tbow & shadow being able to use those for majority tasks. then I won’t need a higher attack to have more of a variety of weps for tasks.
I have a question: so I have 80str/86range/95mage/80hp and 22 slayer. Is it possible to still get the untrimmed slayer cape? What if I get 99 mage first (don't get the 99 mage cape), then get 99 slayer and get that cape first - will the slayer cape be untrimmed because I haven't went to buy the 99 mage cape yet, or is that not how it works?
@@jayteacooksfood2045 unfortunately that won’t work. Slayer would have to be your first 99.
How long did you take to achievement 99 slayer?
I never really "no lifed" it, so a few years. I gradually did it over time. However, IMO, you can definitely get 99 fairly quickly if you focus on doing barrage/cannon tasks
How are you not taking damage from the dust devils? With no slayer helm or mask

Since dragons are basically an instant skip task I recommend not starting dragon slayer at all so you never get them assigned.
Very true. Although, I think most people watching this video probably have already started Dragon Slayer on their pures. Still a good tip none the less!
Kinda need to at least start it if you want to be able to use anti fire shield and pots in wilderness especially

Is Konar the best slayer master for us max pures? Very good vid btw thx
I mean it's debatable. What's your combat level? If you're a maxed 75'er, I'd go with Nieve (requires 85 combat). As for 60 attack, it's a toss up between Chaeldar and Konar. It really depends what you're looking to get out of slayer. If you want money, Konar is probably better. Konar can also assign certain tasks that Chaeldar can't such as Smoke Devils (if you're hunting the Thermy pet).
@@Speshalwhat about if you want to canon all/most tasks and or burst quickly disregarding money making? (I’m 57 combat rn btw 1 def, 84 mage, 45 hp, 43 prayer, and working on my range right now at 58)
@@tvm2209 Bursting would be tasks like: Dust Devils, Smoke Devils, Jellies, Nechryaels, Abby Demons, Ankous, & Bloodvelds.
Cannon tasks would be like: Kalphites, dagonnaths (in lighthouse), Greater/Black Demons inside the Chasms, Hellhounds and Trolls.
That is what immediately came to my mind for bursting/cannon tasks.
biggest tip for doing slayer on pures is don't do it with normal masters.
do it with wild slayer master.. from 85 on I was getting 70k+ per hour and making at least 1m per hour
Hi Speshal, I have a question, my pure is 83 combat, can chaledar or konarr give me a task about my combat level? For example Nechryael, abyssal demons, the requirement is to be 85 combat (to unlock the task) according to the wiki
If I recall correctly, you can just talk to the slayer master and have them assign you harder tasks. There is a setting for it I think.
did we watch your group hardcore lives end from one clip to the next?
Yes. We had to actually die on purpose to add 2 new people to our team. The original 2 people that were on the team had to go on deployment (military).
Wildy slayer
For a pure, at 72 slayer, should I be doing Konar, Chaeldar or Wildy Slayer? I don't know much about Slayer at all
I think it all depends on what you'd like to get out of Slayer. If you want to make money, either Konar or Wildy slayer. If you're wanting to gain slayer levels quickly, I think Chaeldar would be your best option. It all really depends on your stats/gear/budget.
Could you tell me what the quests are to go to tob with a puree? And if you have a guide on that? I use a translator to write to you, sorry
The only quest you have to do is "Priest in Peril" in order to get access to Morytania. I don't think there is any other requirements.
Is it true you can get addy gloves now on pures? MM quest now has dialog to skip getting defence?
addy gloves have a 13 def req

id def like to see a part 2 if there is even more tricks, sheesh, the main things were the tele's to the 2 slayer masters, & & thats already covered
i'd like to add, if ur not a 1/50/60 att pure, for melee an abyssal dagger p++ is really good for multi task, as the poison does lots of damage overtime, and does not cost scaled. also there is no melee toxic weapon, and the whip tent only hits a max of 4 poison damage, where the dagger is 6 or higher
Good tip about the dagger. You could technically use a Toxic Staff as a melee weapon as well. It has +72 strength, and hits as fast as a whip does. But like you said, you would be using scales, so that's the downside (I think it still uses scales when you melee?)
@@Speshal i didn't know the staffs effect works on melee thought it was spells only, i play 60 att pure so wouldn't know xD
& i forgot to mention the dagger would only be useful in places venanator bow not most efficient, such as hellhounds in katacombs :)
@@Servent_Brxwn60 attack FTW. I think the dagger is a good secondary option to use for those that can't afford a venator bow :)

My pure guide content pls combat guides other than afk crabs etc would be good! Ones that make money etc but not pirates? I dunno I just love pure content with guidance. Bearing in mind i have max main and max pure

Lvl 79 cb with 80 slayer. What slayer task is best xp fastest
Any task that you can burst/barrage will be the fastest exp for you such as Dust Devils, Jellies, and Nechryaels.

@@Pk3dut0d4y I would use Chaeldar (Slayer master located in Zanaris).
To add more to this, if you don't get a task that you can burst or barrage, any task that you can use a venator bow for down in the catacombs is also pretty good exp: Fire giants, bloodvelds, dagonnaths, & greater demons.
