  • We join EcoTraining Instructor Michael Anderson in Mashatu for the 7th episode of our popular Interactive Online Field Observation.
What would a Field Observation assessment out in the field look like? We usually take our students out in the field, using all their senses; touch, smell, see, listen and sometimes even taste to observe and learn and, from memory, tell us about those things.
Today, we will simulate four experiences in our 7th Interactive Online Field Observation episode. Take the quiz and see how many answers you have.

I missed the armoured ground cricket. I really enjoy these field obs videos. Also, I laughed out loud at the, "you need to help me" comment 😂. Thank you!

I got the bird right and kind of knew the 'sand monster' but was clueless on the rest! I didn't want to give the answer away! I should listen better when watching WildEarth!

I’m happy to see datura! I know it’s invasive there but I’ve never heard anyone talking about it until now. It is very dangerous to ingest but if worked with very, very carefully, can be used topically with great benefit. It’s used in traditional healing systems as well. Thanks for this mini lesson!
