The white milk glass lamp Melissa was researching was an old oil lamp turned into an electric one. The knob Melissa mentions as being decorative was the knob that controlled the oil wick. I love these old pieces
My favorite activity is seeing what other people buy. I volunteered at a giant thrift store for 4 years. And worked at 2 estate sales. Now I watch your videos!

Few yrs back, bought a box of crystals from old chandelier-used fishing line to hang crystals on stage for Children’s White Christmas program. The crystals popped w/lights from ceiling & spotlight!! Made for great stage presentation. 😃
I have a friend that makes Tree Chimes..Harmonic Journeys...These would make wonderful Tree Chimes!! So many gorgeous pieces!~ Those large vintage Crystals can go for up to 40.00 each. So much fun!! In all the vids I've watched I've heard mention of selling on ebay but have never heard the name. Is it me? I watch a ton of this stuff and you 2 ladies got it together! The pieced-together framed picture was Kate Greenaway illustrations from a book. I had one of her books in my yard sale a few weeks ago, which was possibly 100 years old, that I couldn't sell for 50 cents. It made me sad. I passed it on to a good charity. It was somewhat tattered, but could have been used for something like your item! Be aware: acid rain will do a job on your marble planter. A flag does not have to be burnt just because it touched the ground; only if it got significantly soiled. I love your Victor sign with Nipper!
It makes me so sad as well! I think it’s amazing and no one wanted it. I might just have to hang it because we just can’t move it. I love the nipper too. It looks good over the record player.

It had been a library book, and the library had had it rebound at least once. Strangely, it had no copyright date. If it was published in the UK after 1930, it would have had to be marked with the country in which it was printed, to be sold in the US. It was not. The title was Under the Window.

You don't have to burn a flag if it touches the ground; that's a common misconception. US Flag Code states, a flag should only be destroyed by burning if it is no longer in a fit condition to be displayed, and simply touching the ground doesn't automatically render it unfit for display. I remember hearing you had to burn it, too. But then I thought I heard somewhere that wasn't the case, so I did a little research. 😊 Lauren's German pitcher was incredible.

Unfortunately many missing pieces and damage. The estate company couldn’t sell them after many tries so they gave them to us.
