I’m guessing Long Island or Queens. I hail from both, and even 🎉though we moved to the south 23 years ago I never lost that “accent.” Never stop being who you are. Wow, what a collection she has! I would treasure it forever than pass it down! She should write a book on her life story and how she got started with her collection, starting out with the smalls and then creating unique art from the treasures she obtained during her life's journey! What a collection! The brothel candle story is just that! There is no proof to it, they are known as pocket candles! The tip of the candles were coated with phosphorus so you could light them when there wasn't a lamp available ! Used like the light found on modern day phones, but we collectors gobble up these "stories" of old!

My Mother was a flea market vendor for so many years. Flea Markets are in my blood. Only found your channel a few days ago and I have been binge watching since then.
OMG! The woman’s collection is everything! ! I too adore miniatures, doll heads, doll parts, buttons, and vintage sewing collectibles. Her storage cabinets, and all the treasures within them! That is heaven to me! The brothel candle- amazing! I never knew why tomatoes were the chosen fruit of pin cushions! He room is a museum, a museum that I could never dream existed! Does she sell any of her treasures? I would love to buy some of her treasures, maybe just a few of the contents of “parts” she has drawers full? That would be amazing!

Watched this video again! This woman’s collection in her craft room is to die for! I am so in love with all the collections! I collect vintage buttons as well, as other vintage/ antique sewing notions. I have watched all your video’s since I j Last commented. I saw you & Melissa buy a haul from this lady ! I was literally dying! I live in CT, so I am not that far from where you guys pick. I watched you even come to CT to go to Goodwill. I have been to stormville a few times. Have you gone to the Elephant’s Trunk? It is a great flea market. New Milford, CT Sundays only. Go early, on a day that won’t get too hot. Like all flea market’s they get hotter than HELL! I am newly retired from being a School Psychologist, and am trying to make some money reselling. Just started selling on eBay. Love your videos, wish I lived closer, would love to pick with you girls some day! Keep up the great videos! Kim
Thanks for committing to watching it all! I wonder what is revealed about our evolution when watching them all together. We love trips to CT. The thrift stores are so much better than by us. We sell at Stormville and really enjoy it. We have yet to do elephants truck but we plan on doing it this summer on a hopefully cooler weekend. Wishing you success in your eBay store if you ever find yourself at Stormville or beacon stop by! When we plan on doing elephant’s trunk we’ll be sure to mention that on TH-cam.

My grandaughter lily will be 1 yr old December 12/24 I found her the most beautiful dress embellished with crystal designs. I need to get my needle and thread and sew one piece on. Thank you for reminding me to sew it on. She is going to look like the most beautiful princess. Plus have a pink knitted sweater she can wear because dress has short straps . Love her
