      Reymund Radoc your comment is ignorant. And don’t run your mouth about challenging others over the Internet.

    Awesome test brother. looks like you did a great job. I'm getting ready for my level 2 test in Pekiti Tirsia Kali under Guro Jason Davis whom is a student under Master Apollo and Supreme Grand Master Leo Gaje Jr. I am an Aikidoka but absolutely love the Filipino Martial Arts and will practice them if at all possible for the rest of my life.

    ...was studying Kali/JKD under Guro Marc Halleck, taught JKD by Dan Inosanto...sadly it's just too damn expensive (four kids) to keep paying to study Kali / JKD in my area. It's like another expensive car note. I respect that you can continue your practice...and your skill and respect for the art..and the history...

    Great job! i admire the Balintawak system, however i never had the opportunity to train it. I dont think there is a Balintawak school here in Hawaii.

  • @drhkleinert3245

    Looks similar like TapiTapi, but my question is: Are the block only by stick? It looks like many times the blocks are not supported by the other hand and when a strike comes with much power it can be hard to take the power only by the stick. In Modern Arnis (Tapi or Modern 1-1) every block is supported by the empty hand.

    • @beltonlubas4120
      @beltonlubas4120  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      drh kleinert we do have power blocking techniques. Blocks can be stuck. Hand. Or Hand and stick.

    • @drhkleinert3245
      @drhkleinert3245 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. I ask because many of the strikes looks really less of power so the student learns a kind of "false" block. Same i see when i give a more power strike to high ranked students from other FMA and hurt them because they only learned that softybofty blocks bec they were ever attacked by softy strikes.

    • @beltonlubas4120
      @beltonlubas4120  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      drh kleinert thank you for your insights sir

    • @drhkleinert3245
      @drhkleinert3245 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In very slow motion it looks like a 1-1, block-strike-block-strike. Is that correct?

    • @beltonlubas4120
      @beltonlubas4120  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      drh kleinert defend and counter fast.
