- In this video I react to a video by Michael Veltri where he takes song requests on Omegle dressed as Michael Myers! Marcus works out a lot of the songs by ear and I try to deconstruct the thought process behind working songs out just by listening to them!

Marcus Veltri does in fact have perfect pitch. He was born with it and it definitely shows.
I thought that might be the case! It’s a very useful ability for playing songs by ear 👂
"If you want pianist to struggle request the rap song"
Marcus: "Hold my beatbox"
Love the reaction videos! Especially when ur talking about music theory and explain what’s going on
Thanks! I’m never sure whether I talk too much or too little about the chords and theory, so it’s nice to know that you like those parts! 😊
@@matticawood for a good amount of traffic we've seen video already. Love the break downs.
Can't get enough of Marcus and Frank. Appreciate you posting these. Always a great time. I'll be watching for more. Great reactions too. Me being a brand new learner it's nice to hear how the pro's, like yourself figure these out in your heads. Thanks again!!
I like Marcus Veltri, but he started mostly doing collaberations with Rob Landes (A violinist) which doesn’t let the piano shine as much, so I’m glad I found Frank Tedesco through the two part collaboration they did (one video on each channel). Speaking of which, now that you’ve heard them each independently maybe you’d be interested in checking them out together?
Indeed I think that the colab with the vilonist ist great
+1
I love that video of Marcus and i absolutely love your videos Matthew, especially the one when you try to play by ear, for example the video reacting to frank or u trying to do songs in a certain amount of time etc. Keep up the good work i love these videos
Love your breakdown of the vid thank you!
Very nice video! I love your analysis of other pianists.
Hoping your channel all the success these videos are super entertaining and well put together
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoy them 😊
Love the reaction and breakdown bro. Just subscribed!
Thank you! I appreciate the sub! 😊
Man you’re so good do you got any pitch? Perfect or trained relative ?
u play so good..nice reaction ❤
Thank you! I’m glad you liked the video 😊
Bro you look like Joe List. Loved the video!
This guy is good as him holy shit
I really like you'r Videos ❤
Thanks!! 😊
Kinda surprised Marcus can’t play the double Halloween without the double help? That was kinda easy to learn relatively speaking🤣 (he is 1000x better than I will be in even 10 years)
who do you think is better marcus or frank, cause i honestly started watching marcus first then discovered frank and i think that technically frank is just so good that it's hard for marcus to be better but i'm just a beginner so maybe i'm wrong
Interesting question! I think Frank is maybe technically a bit better and he’s had to train in the skill of hearing pitches (because he doesn’t have perfect pitch), but they are both really great players! 😊
You were in a smb video! Nice!
Was I? Il have to check it out 😊
Pov: pianist play any song
This guy: Uh well it’s not that hard , and then shows off his skills
"Can you play Ligeti’s Ètude No. 13, The Devil’s Staircase?"
"Ooh, I want to hear Islamey by Balakirev!"
"Liszt’s transcription of Danse Macabre by Saint-Saëns for Halloween!"
All pieces way above his skill level, he won’t look very talented if presented with any of those pieces trust me.
@@matticawood I was referring to MV not you…
Oh…in which case…I retract my defensive comment! 😊
@@matticawood may I ask what camera/lens you use in your videos, the latest ones perhaps. Looks very good
Sure! I use a Sony A7iv and a Tamron 17-70mm lens 😊
Heya just to let you know rush e had returned
so, why you dont go on there.. if all its soooo easy?
If you like Marcus Veltri you'll like Frank Tedesco even more.
Played piano for a couple years, I Hate Bohemian Rhapsody with a passion.
That’s a sin! 😉
