A sore throat that gets progressively worse throughout the day, and feeling dehydrated. These are my top two, and without fail by the following day, I'm sick.
Once I had the dry feeling I knew I'm dead😭 Then I immediately ate cough syrup and a bunch of lozenges. Happened every year, I remember I can't even breath even through my nose without feeling my dry throat pain

For me, it’s always a gut feeling “I haven’t gotten sick in a while, is it time again?” I know it sounds twisted, but that’s usually preceded by a sinking depression and the need to curl up in a ball. Once I get the gut feeling, I know I’m about to get sick in the coming days 🫠

For me I'm hit pretty rapidly, I haven't been able to really pinpoint anything that gives me a warning, apart from suddenly getting hit with extreme exhaustion. I worked a 12 hour shift on my feet in the sun and I was fine until I got home, and suddenly my exhaustion turned from 'oh I just worked all day' to 'every fiber of my body is keeping me from collapsing onto the floor' and then I realize, in horror, why I feel so cold. Mf fever Getting sick is the damn worst

Omg this has got to be one of my biggest pet peeves! A family member is staying with me for a while and I had to tell her grown self off for wanting to visit her very sick partner so they could be intimate💀. My immune system is weaker than others and I refuse to get the flu on top of my daily health struggles because someone couldn’t postpone getting laid for a freaking week😂.
i sometimes forget that i have a heart condition. when she said her heart rate is usually in the 50s, i gasped. i was like “THATS SO LOW??” no. mine’s just high edit: guys there’s no reason to panic over having a high heart rate. it depends on the person. i was just speaking to my own personal experience and how i forgot that having a low heart rate can also be normal. yes, my heart rate is affected by my condition. but some people just have a heart rate that is naturally high. it’s not worth panicking over unless you have other symptoms. if you’re really that worried about it, go see a doctor.
Lmao my friend has a heart condition and reacted the same way to me. Tho I am always sinus brady so my hr IS low. I had to tell the anesthesiologist that my hr is in the low-mid 30s when I sleep so don't panic and apparently I got to 32 bpm 😅

Usually, it’s a scraggly feeling in my throat when I swallow something. Other times, a globus forms in my throat. A globus is a feeling of something in your throat that isn’t even there. If I feel either one of or both of these things, then it’s time to keep monitoring for other symptoms.

It is quick, with lots of sneezing then BAM! The sore throat and exhaustion hits. This is all in about 6-8 hour time frame. Getting sick can be weird sometimes XD
I know I'm getting a fever when my lower back and knees start to hurt. Then comes a slight burning of the eyes. I've also found that if I'm feeling better to always give it one more day. I may no longer be symptomatic of whatever I had but about half way through the day I'll definitely feel it and wish I had stayed home.
Its a guaranteed fever for me when i noticed the contrast of my vision changed. My vision gets yellowish, almost dreamish or nostalgic hue of yellow before the fever hits me.

It's been awhile since I've had a cold or anything, but I have chronic ear infections. My ear infections appear overnight, usually in under 12 hours. I can tell when my ear starts to itch. It usually happens just before I go to sleep and is a full fledged ear infection when I wake up😅
I usually feel a fever coming and get slightly tired. But the thing is, I can feel fevers coming like 2 days in advance, so I guess that's really useful. My immune system must be fighting real hard.

Usually a headache. I also get feverish easily, so sometimes my cheeks and chest will feel hot before I notice any other symptoms. But often it's a smell. When I have an infection in my sinuses, there is a very distinct smell. I can't really explain what it smells like. Sometimes if I have a bad chest cold I can also smell it, particularly when I cough. But no one seems to understand what I'm talking about.😅
I can usually predict that i caught a cold because i get a really bad headache on one side of my face a day before other symptoms appear and this happens every time, no matter if it's just a small or big flu. I usually spend my time rolling around in bed unable to fall asleep because it's so bad. Sometimes i get up to throw up because i feel nauseous from the pain but walking is also bad. I call it sting walking because every step i take makes my face sting.
It’s also the nap in the middle of the day for me. Sometimes I would accidentally fall asleep while chilling on the couch after school and when I’d wake up id be like “oh no” and the next day as expected id wake up with a sore throat
For me it's always a migraine hat progresses to slight nausea. Usually ends up with me either passed out in my bed for a couple hours or hunched over the toilet in feverish agony. Fun.
For me it’s when my body feels unusually warm especially my hands and cheeks. Also when i realise i’m always looking for a chance to sit down and rest (even if it’s just a fee seconds), that’s when i know another fatigue attack is around the corner.
If am walking under very hot sun and am kinda enjoying the feeling instead of feeling irritated and hot as usual, that's a sign of getting ill. My mom made me realize that.
I rarely ever get sick but when I do I get it much worse than the average person. I was recently sick for three weeks and almost had to go to the hospital because it was so bad that I wasn't eating or drinking much at all

My first symptoms are a dry itchy throat followed by slight body pains and if I dont treat it immediately, I get a feverr the next day.

if i feel cold aches and i wanna take nap, i literally only evr take naps when im sick
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who senses the doom with sandpaper throat
For me it's always a migraine hat progresses to slight nausea. Usually ends up with me either passed out in my bed for a couple hours or hunched over the toilet in feverish agony. Fun.
For me it’s when my body feels unusually warm especially my hands and cheeks. Also when i realise i’m always looking for a chance to sit down and rest (even if it’s just a fee seconds), that’s when i know another fatigue attack is around the corner.
Sore throat then absolute horrible headaches and BIG fever 😭
If am walking under very hot sun and am kinda enjoying the feeling instead of feeling irritated and hot as usual, that's a sign of getting ill. My mom made me realize that.
Usually I get cold and I feel so tired than I start to sneeze 😅
My body is generally unwell at all times. But every few years my body decides its time to get sick sick and it hits out of no where. Darn you body 😤

I rarely ever get sick but when I do I get it much worse than the average person. I was recently sick for three weeks and almost had to go to the hospital because it was so bad that I wasn't eating or drinking much at all
Usually I feel like a really sharo stab in my throat and I start to get like mucus and stuff
When my whole body feels sensitive and anything that touches it discomforts me
Back pains, nasal congestion, and full day sleep, sometimes I will also electrify everyone I touch
Not taking naps is craaaaazy. I spend most of my off days taking naps and sleeping in.
If I wake up with globus sensation and the literal feeling of dirt in my throat, I know I’m done for 💀
