Thank you for the ideas.💖🌹🎨 I'm in the habit of dampening my edges then picking and scrapping at them to make them thinner and more fibrous. We needed to do that back in the day before better glues came into use that prevent paper edges from curling over time. 😊
Thanks Cheryl! I guess you could still do that, just in case. Because no one wants curling edges! Some glue sticks still make the edges curl, however, haven't had that happen with matte medium (yet).
Thank you do much for making and sharing your great video, so many good ideas and techniques. I especially liked yiur idea for using the fantasy fibres to give such a lovely result, and the glossy magazine print technique is brilliant. Unfortunately I havent got the buget for a Gelli Print mat , they are difficult t to fund and bpvery expensive here in France, so use a silicon baking mat instead, which gives pretty good results. I did make a gelatine mat if my own but it didn’t last very long. Your collage is beautiful. TFS
Thank you so much Marsha, I really really enjoyed watching this, those prints you got are stunning and gorgeous too. And it’s really really inspirational for all of us to watch this type of video. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I am really new at this. Do you have a book where I can read more about printing. My paper often sticks to my plate to much paint or not enough? What is the extender you reference and what does it do? Glad I found you!
Very inspirational! Love the colors you used and the patterns you made. Those tiny leafs are great! A question: what's the different between tissuepaper, delipaper and ricepaper? Greetings Marjan.🌷
Hi Marjan, Tissue paper is the thin paper some shops use to wrap gifts in. It’s also the paper you find in shoe boxes. Deli paper is a dry waxed paper that is used to package food like meat or sandwiches in the US. What I mean by rice paper is a thin Japanese type of paper. I hope this helps!
The eyelash yarn idea is perfect
Oh blues and greens and a bird. What is not to like!
I never thought of using black and white magazine prints on the gel plate! Love that!
Have fun giving it a go, Julie!

@@marshavalk Just speaking the truth, lovely. 💕💕💕💕
Hi, Marsha, I am wondering how you got the text and space-looking design onto the tissue paper? Thanks.
she showed how in the video - it's a transfer from a magazine page
You ever use ink, instead or acrylic?
