As always I enjoy the items you have ,now what get my juices flowing is the slammed jeep in the garage, just picked up a free jeep in a tree row 4x4 frame body is there needs someone like you to put the spin on it ,but slowly getting my wife to warm up on the vision? And the vision is sitting in your garage! Thank God for my wife you live in TEXAS, and as you know ! My hope that if that happens my pocket has some change ! And a roll of the dice, things might happen , And to say 1 other thing your suspension work are spot on just to pick one thing ,as usual we who support you and your family keep TURNIN RUST ! And I pray that of us will put this MESS behind us and cruise down the road with windows down and smell the fresh air !
So glad to hear from you hopefully got my second letter ? With attached added bonus to keep you guys the thoughts of the work you do is what I appreciate and remember keep God first ! There is no stopping faith.
Just wanted to say how much I enjoy the show. I think I’ve watched everything you have at least three times. You guys have some mad skills which I appreciate as a fabricator. High quality entertainment. Absolutely love it. Be blessed be healthy and be safe.
Glad your back with both channels I have been watching all your restored videos since you started the channel. When I subscribed to turning rust, I found that I had watched some on there. Keep up the good work from a fellow Texan!
Well I hope you guys keep motivated in family business; specially on your major talent restoring vehicles. I've been watching your videos which takes me to remember when I hade my father a live; we also work to gather on much of the models that are playing on the program Turning Rust. What of blessing you have to have your father a live and to work together in Christ. I wish you the best in the future of Turning Rust. God bless you all.
Guys, we have a local "garage" who *HAD* a collection like this. There was a barn full to the neck with cool, rare, some unique, projects. They never got round to most of them, wouldn't sell them either, and the barn crumbled away over the years. Every single one of the cars went for scrap - an absolute tragedy and a valuable lesson. You guys seem to be good at what you do so: *stop buying and get building* or the same will happen to most of these. None of them are getting any better sitting there. Good Luck with every one of them.👍 Cheers for now, Dougie.
It`s amazing how many guys take the time to watch the videos & have nothing to say but negative & condescending comments . These guys are making a living doing what they love! How many of you can say that ?
Love the 59 Apache, my Grandpa had one when I was a kid, I think his was a 58. I can remember going out with him to feed the cattle in it, I was probably 4 or 5 yrs old. I think he was more ornery then the cows.
This tour just blew me away. I would love to see the Ranchero worked on since I’ve missed mine since the day that I sold it. Probably one of the easiest vehicles to work on that ever came down the line. However I will watch you work on anything, the channel is that good. 👍☮️
Yep, I'd love to see a full, shiny paint restoration on it. I know you prefer the ratty, patina look but a change is as good as a rest and a happy wife makes for ...... 😀
Like the collection of toys u got there. I must say that last little van that u have stashed in the back of the shop is my favorite. For me if I owned it, small 4x4 build to finish it off. Love the show keep up the great work!!!
I really enjoyed this! Some really cool projects to look forward to. I've always wanted to have a '76 Gremlin project since that's my birth year and I love those things! My first car was a '79 AMC Concord that I bought with paper route money out of my neighbors yard. My great grandmother had a '71 AMC Matador that was a tank. AMC's were built solid, and their inline sixes run great.
Really enjoyed the tour and seeing things that I am not sure we have seen before or we have forgotten... Now we know you have tons of projects to do and several cool projects for others to buy.. Stay well and get busy as the state opens back up.
I'm a huge vw fan loving some of the projects me and my dad had a mk1 vw we restored together miss him so much keep up the amazing work guys loving this channel thanks turning rust
The VW Thing is priority #1 for me and worth spending time on, due to its rarity. VW sold millions of type 1 Beetles so only good for parts unless they are ‘67 or earlier because you’ll never make your money back. I like the commercials too, panel vans particularly or pick ups; much more interesting than vans/busses with windows in them. Good hoarding, keep it up 👍🏻
You make fantastic creations of old cars, we are some here at the fire station who follow all your episodes all the way from Sweden (Stockholm) Looking forward to many new creations ...
Nice to have a tour. Looks like you got work the next 30 years. So much awesome stuff. Pick 3 or 4 cars to finish,do one on monday, otherone on thuesday, next wedensday , and so on. In the end,you got 4 running cars. And abrle to flip some inbetween. Love to se more rusty paintjobs. Been a lot of smarting old engined lateley. And smal video updates 15-20 minutes is also fun
Man, I really enjoyed the tour and can say I recognised most of them from watchi mb ing all the videos. You've gotta love cars to have lived thru all that. John from down under.
That ford cab over body style was used as Semi Truck with a diesel engine as well ,I drove one for a guy who was contracted to Greyhound Moving and Storage back in 1970
Came trough there earlier today , all your stuff looks abandoned, hope you guys are well enjoy watching y’all pull these old cars out and get them running.
The GMC shortbus is exactly what I need to convert into a handicap lift bus. I am a disabled vet in a wheelchair I would love to engine swap, and add a wheelcair lift.
I drove by that weird Chevy radical custom truck for years in Whiskey Flats (Wheatland) and always loved that truck. Keep 'em Up-N-Runnin! (That's my channels name. :-) I noticed you said it often in your video.) Good stuff, I watch it every time a new one comes out.
At 16:19 the "late 50's, early 60's; I believe it's a Ford Step Van... they drove it from California" was (I think) a camper from new. There was a company that professionally made them.
After watching this I don’t feel so bad that I only have two cars in my shed going no we’re If I had all your collection I would be like we’re do I start and which one next 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ Top video and such a collection of vehicles 🚗👍👍😍😍
I really appreciate your channel! as a Music teacher in California, I'm looking for something to drive to my schools. Keep em coming Bro. Much Respect!
Loved the video. I did notice a few discrepancies in your description of the vehicles, regarding their model years. I don't know if you just didn't recall the years, or if you were not sure, but this is what I noticed: What you called a 1954 GMC short bus is actually no newer than 1953. The 1954-early 55 GMCs had a slightly different grill where the parking lights were integrated with the grill, albeit in the same relative location as the earlier ones. The short bus Ford that you said was around a 1952 is either a 1949 or 1950 with that grill. The Ranchero you said was probably around the mid-60s is actually a 1960 model year. Lastly, what you said was a 1969 Ford pickup, is more than likely a 1968. In 1969 there was more black in the grill and the headlight frames had black surrounding the headlight. I really enjoy your videos, but when they get to be around an hour long, I just don't have the time to sit and watch the whole thing. Keep up the GREAT work!
Wow Lance u r blessed 2 b able 2 do this kind of work.Love your videos. Glad 2 know u r a Christian God bless u and your Family.Got a question .R ALL THE FRAMES GOOD ON THESE OLD VEHICLES. Frames rot out down here in Newfoundland. Salt water I guess.Wish I could visit your town.Looks really nice there.Newfoundland is nice but not many old vehicles around.Again God bless
The old Chevy pickup you made the recovery video of is a 49 or 50. That's a cool old truck - but will cost a small fortune to get back on the road. But I like it! Too bad you don't have a title - and it's 700 miles from me. :)

my favourite car was the Cadillac his wife wanted a full nut bolt restore. and the 1950's pickup and the 60's camper car. with they big grill was epic.

Firstly let me say I love watching your video's but although on some historic vehicles it's worth keeping as is on others rust is rust and to me IMHO patina is different, maybe I am just old school and I do understand the rat rod look, but calling a rusty vehicle patina just means you can't be bothered to restore it properly (and no I don't just mean you)
I'd like to have the 1969 Chevy work truck and several more but...I'd love the 57 blue 4 door.I'd drive it like it is doing mechanical things with my grand kids while acquiring 2 door parts then to a conversion on it with you guessed it.... MY GRAND KIDS! My Law Paw done little things with us growing up and I want to do the same with mine. My grandson loves cars and hot rods so I got to find us a project.
15:07 .... If I'm not mistaken that is ( what we call it in Australia) a ford ute ( utility ) , body idea invented in Australia by farmers ... who needed a car for church on a Sunday and a car for the market on a Monday
Pretty sure your GMC pickup is a '72. I had the Suburban version which I bought in '74. The grill and logo are identical. It had a 350 that wouldn't die.
Great collection of vehicles! Loved that Ranchero, reminded me of grandfather's early 60's one; manual choke, the longhorn heads embossed on the vinyl seat, and the "3 on the tree" shifter. that I learned on. It also was painted white. You may want to consider how much over all time it will take to get them right vs how much time you have to devote. In other words is there more material than you can get through, as you add more later on?
A friend of mine owns a Bricklin right here in New Zealand. Yes they are very rare cars, about 2000 made. Designed by customiser Dick Dean and built by Malcolm Bricklin in Canada using a 351 Windsor Ford motor.
Wow that was a lot of really cool vehicles. I'm glad I live too far from u. I'd either be stop by alot just to look or be hauling too many home to sit in my yard. Lol
I was making a drive back home from Oklahoma city and seen you're shop and truck an got stupid excited and my wife woke yo like what's you're deal! Haha love yalls videos I'd love to stop by sometime

Hey guys, just heard from the young man filming " Turnin Rust all this time, and he said not to expect the program to be the same. I'm guessing that this means your still in business, but I'm really not sure. Could you please go on TH-cam to help clarify your position a little, for those of us that were serious about wanting to do business with you in the near future? Thank you for all that you have shared, and for your warm acceptance of the youtube intrusion. I personally looked forward to seeing your new shows, but I do understand how the whole thing can become a pain, when your trying to run a business. I will miss you. Go with god.
I hope and pray everything is good with you and your dad. Miss seeing videos the past month on TH-cam
If I win the lottery soon the Lincoln RV is mine! Ever get the feeling you should stop buying and finish a few of these????
"Someday, oneday..." Yeah we know how that goes.

In the 60's and 70's I think (i may be wrong) Ford used the 429/460 motors in the industrial trucks but it was bored and stroked at 370 cubic inches.
That sound about right

The very last vehicle to be shown in this video is hands down the coolest of the whole collection, love it!
Bring one of your Volkswagens to our show in October in round rock TX, called the VW Harvest
Seen walk-around vids of the Harvest, looks like an awesome event (I'm a member of Canterbury VW Enthusiasts Club, Christchurch NZ).

Great video. Only bad thing is they are all parked in the grass. Some awesome projects you got there
