Diatryma’s called Gastornis, nowadays. Also, it’s related to a group called the Demon Ducks/Thunder Birds, it’s more of an herbivore that it was thought a carnivore, and closer to poultry, waterfowl, gamefowl, and wildfowl than it is to Terror Birds and Seriemas, which are distant relatives of falcons, parrots, and songbirds.
I wish he would have mentioned ospreys, they're my favorite raptors and I live on the east coast near the Chesapeake Bay so I get to see them go fishing from the sky fairly often. Love your content, cheers from Virginia Beach!
Osprey's are great. Maybe he'll do a video on them at some point? Give them some love on their own? ((addendum from Lauren))Heck Yeah! Virginia Beach! I've vacationed there a few times when I lived over that way. I still have a bag from there that I use ALL THE TIME
Even small ones have been known to inflict crippling wounds on humans. It's very rare but they will risk it if you won't back down. If you approach their nests or mates or a fresh kill they will swoop at your head to drive you away and you'd better listen to the warning because they will hurt you.
Chickens aren't actually the descendants of tyrannosaurus rex. Rather, tyrannosaurus Rex is an uncle to them. But then again, all birds are equally related to tyrannosaurus rex. This means the tyrannosaurus Rex is an uncle to all birds.
Petty correction, T-rex and most of the other big theropod dinosaurs were non-avian. Meaning that modern theropods (birds) are less like "Great great great, ad infinitum, grandchildren" and more like a 42069th removed cousin.
(Lauren here) I LOVE Roanoke Gaming! I've been watching him for a while, and even did a few videos reacting to his stuff (idr if it was here or Chicago Reacts) but they didn't do well, so now I just watch him on my own lol

Well maybe I will!

That last clip lmfao. Either that cat has balls of steel or that shit happens so often the cat just started to ignore it.

Check out his video about owls, it changed my view on them
I know that YOU know this, but chickens are NOT the direct descendants of the T-rex. They're more like distant cousins.
"Humanity first." Something tells me that you would be great friends with Roanoke Gaming XD
