    He wiped out my ancestors. The Taino Arawaks. I've done research on the Tainos and its extremely difficult to find any concrete information. He did an excellent job at wiping out our culture and history.

      @PROPHET XI JINPING (PBUH):FATHER OF MUHAMMED Puerto Rican. We have what is left of the Taino DNA in our genes. Not much, its mostly African and Spaniard, but the whisper is still there. I would say that the Tainos left more of their culture than Gene's. The complete extent of the genocide is unknown though,because a paper genocide accured where the Spaniards stopped documenting living natives.

      I had also done my fair share of research of the Taino Arawaks. When Columbus first set foot on Hispaniola, he encountered a population of Indigenous peoples called the Taino. A friendly group, they willingly traded jewelry, animals, and supplies with the sailors. “They were very well built, with very handsome bodies and very good faces,” Columbus wrote in his diary. “They do not carry arms or know them....They should be good servants.” This alone proves the true intentions of Columbus. The Indigenous peoples were soon forced into slavery, and punished with the loss of a limb or death if they did not collect enough gold (a portion of which Columbus was allowed to keep for himself). Between the European’s brutal treatment and their infectious diseases, within decades, the Taino population was decimated.
      Under Columbus's leadership, the Arawaks were forced under the encomienda system (a system of forced labor that sidestepped the word "slavery") to mine for gold and produce cotton. When gold was not found, the irate Columbus oversaw the hunting of natives for sport and dog food. Women and girls as young as nine or 10 were used as sex slaves for the Spanish. So many natives died under the encomienda slave system that natives from neighboring Caribbean islands were imported, and eventually from Africa. After Columbus's first kidnapping of natives, he is believed to have sent as many as 5,000 native american slaves across the Atlantic, more than any other individual.
      From Bartolome de las Casas' "History of the Indies,” reporting on Columbus’ expedition:
      Thus husbands and wives were together only once every eight or ten months and when they met they were so exhausted and depressed on both sides. . . they ceased to procreate. As for the newly born, they died early because their mothers, overworked and famished, had no milk to nurse them, and for this reason, while I was in Cuba, 7000 children died in three months. Some mothers even drowned their babies from sheer desperation.... In this way, husbands died in the mines, wives died at work, and children died from lack of milk . . . and in a short time this land which was so great, so powerful and fertile ... was depopulated.... My eyes have seen these acts so foreign to human nature, and now I tremble as I write...."
      This is from Cuba, not the Taino's, but I would expect them to have suffered a similar fate. Estimates for the pre-Columbus population of Hispaniola range between 1.1 million and 8 million Arawaks. By 1542 Las Casas recorded fewer than 200, and by 1555 they were all gone.

    I was born into a Roman Catholic family. Saint Colombus was our patron Saint. I was severely punished for questioning him discovering the America's. How could he have discovered a country if civilization was already established there? In the end I came to the conclusion that because they weren't Caucasian or Catholic, they don't count as a civilization. This was enough for me to denounce Catholicism at 9 years old. I still believe in a higher power. I believe that all religions need respect, but also a pinch of reservation before blind faith. Mohammed was a real man, Yaweh or Yeshua was a real man. Hindi faith probably has a strong basis in fact, story telling for spiritual enlightment needs flair and poetic license to make the lessons more enjoyable to recount. I believe Christianity was started as a means to control society with the fear of eternal damnation for complaining about capitalist gains of the government at the expense of the tax paying population. Christianity can only work under capitalist government with the church as part of the state.
    Our creator (if there is one in the sense of a father in heaven) wouldn't want us to follow because of fear, but want to follow out of respect to a creator that put us in such a beautiful paradise.
    Love and respect to you all.

And moreover I think many Chirnajivi are not present in India since the start of kali yuga. The Islamic imvasion is something we purselves needed deal with, and same in the present, because we still don't know when the great liberator will take birth, so we have to wait and keep on moving, the times are going to be more worse, joining various statements from both our great gurus and granths, i can simply conclude, that Kalki would take birth when the city of Jagganath Puri sink into the ocean, the average age of human would be 50 yrs, and many human community themselves would behave like rakshyasas, they would eat their own children, and their would be only 2 sides, 1 the dharmic side and the adharmic side, Kalki would wipe out the the whole adharmic community.

      Probably he was the first to find an alternative sea route. We know that the IVC people did trade with the Mesopotamia civilization also through the sea. Even if Da Gama was not the first to find an alternative sea, he was the one whose voyage was documented properly. He came to India for two things, for the spices and to find the Christian king in India. It is said he was to be executed if he did not find the king. The Captain of that journey kept a journal, you can find a narration of it on TH-cam in the Voices of the past channel.

    I Remember You mentioned Prithviraj Chauhan & Kanishk Kushan
    Maybe You Know that Sir, There is a Dispute Between Rajputs & Gurjars that prithviraj Chauhan was A Gurjar or A Rajput.
    Rajputs Says He was a Rajput as His Title Chauhan Indicate this.
    But in Gurjars Also there is a Chauhan title , Rawat (mostly Garwali Owns)& rana(Rajputs Own) as Well.
    So who was he.... So I wanted You to Clear This Doubt Sir 🙏🏻😊. I Would Really Appreciate you if you'd that. For me it really doesn't matter who was he, but i believe at same time this doubt has to be clear

    I appreciate your videos (a lot) but you seem to have reached wrong conclusions here. Columbus (or the Spain kings) would need to have been crazy to think they could colonize an advance civilization 1000s of kms away.
    They colonized and brutalized the native indians (Espanola, Azetcs, Incas) because they could and it was very "easy". They saw an "opportunity" and grab it, as evil as it was.
    Taking into consideration the European context (lots of wars) and the fact that the only the most ambitious Spaniards went to the "New World" what they did was not out of line with the rest of Europe.
    Furthermore, if you consider that Spain was a very poor country at the time and people regularly starve or go hungry, you can certainly see why the desire to take any opportunity they could find.
    In short, I wonder if I was in their shoes I would not have done the same.

    • @manuelcoutinho9426
      @manuelcoutinho9426 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Yogis_BitterTruth_Nirvan my guess: most people died from diseases, not massacres.
      Also, their goal is to extract the most. So not only gold, but also sugar plantations for example (which was extraordinarily expensive in Europe at the time).
      So they "needed" to exploit those people by enslaving them, which was quite common in Spain at the time since many Spanish were themselves taken as slaves.

    • @Yogis_BitterTruth_Nirvan
      @Yogis_BitterTruth_Nirvan ปีที่แล้ว
