I am pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance but wanted to ask how many courses I should take per term, considering I have a full-time job and a family of four.
Hey! Glad to hear it! I think at WGU your required to complete at least 3 or 4 courses per term, depending on the way your degree plan has been set. This can change depending on what credits you bring in with you, but I'd say 4 is the minimum and you will need to complete extras every term to progress through at a reasonable rate. I'd say completing at least 2 extra courses per term would be good, but the more you can complete on top of your required 4 per term, the better. It really just depends on how fast you want to finish. Best of luck!
WGU is only your best bet if youre ready to speed run this degree and save money. If you wanna go slower go to a traditional online uni. like Liberty or Univ of Maryland
Progressing slowly but surely! Life threw some curveballs at me over the past few months, but I'm ramping up again over the holidays. More videos to come soon!
At 6:18 mark, So you finish and pass those classes and then you get A+ cert automatically? Or do you have to take the official A+ exam at like a person vue location in a different day?
@@Dxr1923so the coursework for the 2 classes for A+ is actually CompTIA material that acts as study materials for the exam. So you will complete the class (which teaches you the exam material) and then take an exam for the A+ to complete the class. But yes those exams will be at a testing center and they will be the 2 exams needed for each part of the A+
