That's pretty cool, awesome work! That turned out pretty nice in the end result. What wood is that? It's very unique, never seen anything like that before! :)
Don't soak the handle in the oil.you put on one coat let dry and then if needed put on one more coat and let dry.just soaking it like that the out side will dry but the inside will never dry
Tolle Arbeit. Ich wünsche Ihnen viel Erfolg. Ich hoffe, Sie in Deutschland zu besuchen. Ich lebe auch in Deutschland in Hamburg.

As a Scandinavia myself I can say we most defiantly drove cars in the Viking Times... (The Vikings being a dance-band).

I don't think vikings had drills so they could put the blade inside the handle.. lol
They actually did have hand drills. Be surprised what kind of hand tools they made out of steel and iron
Nice vid NOW, liked the atmospheric music too. Are you thinking of making a career of blacksmithing?

No I actually just started my apprenticeship as a cabinet maker 😃
Not only Wood now that's a job I wish I'd been able to try! God's blessings for a long and happy career mate!
