Hi, I have one. First, you do not need the paper filters, unless you do not want any mouth feel. Second, I do use a full mesh upper puck screen from Normcore (center hole model). The one in this video I tried, but water sits between the holes in the screen above. Finally, the steam wand angle can be pushed out on any angle you want to the right of the machine. Pull the wand away from the machine to the right, and angle any which way. Works great for me. Regarding the paper filters, I respect their use, its just a personal thing for me.
Yes! Moving from a Sage (Breville) this is a big jump but well worth it! The powerful pump means we can grind the coffee bean much finer which brings out more flavour. And the machine is so consistent you need less time to re-adjust in the morning.
I bought it from Amazon. If you’re using La Marzocco Micra as well you’ll need to search puck screen that’s compatible which means it needs to have a hole in the middle. The brand is MHW-3BOMBER. This is a good one. Only 0.8mm thin and it is double layered. The other side is super fine.
amazing !
Nice workflow! Same espresso machine and grinder as you 😉
Question is the steam wand angle an issue?? I’m looking at this machine for a future upgrade. Is it worth that price tag??

It is recommended to hold down a finger on each side of the base of the Force Tamper. If not there's a chance the tamp might be uneven.
Thank you for the tips. I’ve since changed and it works perfectly now
Yes. I also noticed that with my force tamper ever after that i started holding the base works fine 😅
A $4500 plus setup and your using a towel as a work mat. Get a silicone mat now!!!! 😅
