Love you Caroline. I've been reading your books for almost 20 years now and I'm 34. That prayer hover over me God has helped me through a lot of difficult times. Thank you for all your help over the years

My Roman Catholic mother, her homophobia, her xenophobia, her racist Christian Nationalism POV had ironically depleted my faith in God entirely…I lost any connection to a higher power. I was sure the world & everything in it was just an amalgamation of coinciding chaos.
Through leaving my family & it’s toxicity behind, in leaving religious fundamentalists behind…in leaving my addictions behind, and my sorrow & woe behind (a process that is nonlinear & ongoing) I found my faith, in unexpected places.
Caroline, if you ever read these comments…your TED talk reached me, not long after surviving a Hit & Run, and surviving homelessness. The POWER of CHOICE. I decided to live in integrity…I was entirely inspired.
It’s not easy, but nothing worth having is. I learn more & more from Caroline Myss & other spiritual guides, and am learning from the journey I’ve lived through…to finding my power for the journey ahead.
Im forever grateful - thank you. Because of you, I recognized Grace & prayed to God again. A force beyond our understanding…but of benevolence & grace.
    Thank you 🙏🏼❤️‍🩹🙏🏼

@@60nygal Thank you for asking here such a beautiful and sincere question; what does it mean to live with integrity? For me too, lately I continually find myself asking the same question; feeling disconnected from my internal compass & sense of who I am. Something which has been helping me find my way again is Ralph Waldo Emerson’s beautiful essay on Self Reliance. It’s a short read which is layered with profundity upon profundity, and I’ll post a link to it in case it is helpful to you too, but here is a lovely quote which sums up for me what it means to truly live with integrity:
“Trust thyself: every heart vibrates to that iron string. Accept the place the divine providence has found for you, the society of your contemporaries, the connection of events. Great men have always done so, and confided themselves childlike to the genius of their age, never betraying their perception that the absolutely trustworthy was seated at their heart, working through their hands, predominating in all their being. And we are now men, and must accept in the highest mind the same transcendent destiny; and not minors and invalids in a protected corner, not cowards fleeing before a revolution, but guides, redeemers, and benefactors, obeying the Almighty effort, and advancing on Chaos and the Dark.”
      archive.vcu.edu/english/engweb/transcendentalism/authors/emerson/essays/selfreliance.html
Sending you wishes for perfect health, peace & fulfillment on your journey!

As someone who has been on the receiving end of these antiquated ideas and perspectives I too lost my faith as a result of experiencing hate from a young age into adulthood, not understanding how a GOD could allow the perpetrators of all it despises to be prosperous, Caroline helped me too tremendously on my journey to accept real knowledge, enlightenment comes after great sorrow is felt if you are able to endure! I appreciate your comment if she did not see it, I did, and it has made all the difference. Thank you.

You’re not sentimental, interesting point. How powerful am I when I’m looking back longing for what once was or might have been and how often do I allow my world, (AI, social media, adverts and even conversations) to pull me into a negative fiction? Thanks for sharing your knowledge & this workshop CM. 🕉️

My cousin had cancer when he was 15. The amount of people who commented about it thinking it was a fashion choice was disgusting. Strangers making loud remarks on "the youth of today", calling him a thug. And they were actually just bullying a sweet boy who was dying.

Thank you Carolyn! I love your writing! Can i ask, are you saying that we should somehow make positive, the negative fiction in our thoughts? Or are you saying that if we dwell in either ng. Or pos. Thoughts its fine because we are dwelling in another dimension?

I love Caroline Myss but I must say : imagination and the ability to dialog with the unseen and develop faith didn't start with Abraham. The cave paintings around the world from different prehistoric periods attest to this.
