Thanks Jim! Yeah these are waay louder than the Super 44s that I took off. Fwy underpasses and tunnels are ridiculous now under some load! 😏

What is it about Olds engines that sound so awesome? Am I just flapping my gills about this or am I right? I've watched so many videos of so many cars with V8s for so long and none of them sounded as good as my Olds Cutlass did. So I thought I was just biased and misremembering but then I actually started looking for old Cutlasses like this and they sound just like I remember. Granted I didn't have this fancy exhaust whatever it is, but I did have headers and basically straight piped cherry bombs and it sounded glorious, a lot like this car. So what gives? Is it the resonance of the body? Something to do with the motor? These exhausts? Or am I just fooling myself?

Probably the combination of chamber design, intake runner flow, exhaust port size, compression ratio, bore and stroke, cam profile, and firing order.
