DLO showed up, AD playoff career high 7 blocks, Bron being Bron, Rui for Nunn was the biggest steal in a trade in god knows how many years, maybe since we swooped Paul Gasol from..... Grizzlies lol and then Austin "I'm him" Reaves to close this game out. Literally all around perfect game, Vando even did a good job annoying Morant who may be out the whole series now. I knew we could steal a game in Memphis, especially the 1st game, but never thought I would see a playoff game where Bron is on the wing and they ran everything through Austin, I was smiling so hard watching that lol. See y'all game 2 on Wednesday, let's try and grab that game too so we can close this series ASAP!!!

You can't underestimate how crucial the second half of the season has been in preparing the Lakers mentally for playoff basketball. Every single game was treated like a must-win by them and they got every teams best shot for the most part. These guys have been through the fire and it's going to serve them well.

Championship is not a dream when they play like this. Not just Hachimura, Not just AR and Not just AD. You can clearly see everyone on the court fighting for the win. What an amazing game they brought us fans today.

Facts! Ball movement is key! Bron doesn't need to hold every possession. Everybody needs to get involved offensively and defensively to take the load off of Bron and AD
@@KingJx30 yea man. To add to your point: since Bron’s comeback, Everytime he holds it for like 15 secs, it seems that always results in a turnover. That MUST stop. I think Bron needs to think about scoring more instead of “surveying” the defense… he won’t have those pocket passes available if he can’t prove he can score or penetrate the D.

Rui took over in the 3rd, Reaves took over in the 4th. D Lo helped keep it close throughout the game. LeBron and AD solid on offense, and dominant on defense. Lakers play like this? Game over.

Great thing about this game is that Lebron didn’t even play great by his standard but his blocks were all over the place. Kudos to Rui and AR for stepping it up in the clutch.

Wow!!! The whole laker team locked in from 1st quarter to the 4th. Played with alot of energy and emotions...especially guys like rui, reaves and DLo stepped up big time to help LeBron and AD in the scoring department. LeBron and AD defense tonight is the key to this win. And Dennis energy off the bench just add it to another level. Hope they can carry on with this type of energy and keep on playing good D in the remain games.

I haven’t seen lebron standing in 3pt line with his hands ready to catch and shoot in multiple possesions ever in my life. Shit was crazy that he was coasting and trusting Reaves to do handle the ball. It’s a big deal when the leader and the greatest playmaker in your team gave you the green light to do it
Lebron knows his team needs chemistry and confidence. He learned in 2015 and 2018 you can score all you want, you cant win by yourself. Your squads gotta make plays.
Ad and bron presence alone makes defenses wary when one if them isnt handling the ball

Man….that game was so fun to watch not just from an offensive standpoint but defensively as well. Austin “I’m him” Reaves just has it and we need to make sure he stays around for a long time, love his energy and like LeBron says “his basketball IQ”. Rui was huge too. You can see his confidence growing each game. This is what happens when players buy in and follow their leaders in Lebron and AD. They gel. They have accountability. They have humility (from the post game interviews) and just as important, that dawg in them. Confidence is high and this team has the talent to win it all if they keep improving. I really believe that.

stayed up all night to watched this game and slept at 5:30am with a big smile on my face. The depth of this team is really good plus I love how it is a team basketball rather than a Lebron dominant possesion everytime which made him exert so much effort and drains stamina. If they can keep this up making open shots and creating play they had a better chance of winning a chip this year. The only thing I noticed they lacked of is the presence of a real big man who can handle the likes of Jokic and Zubac. You see what Jaren Jackson did in this game with AD sitting how I wish they had a someone who is realiable in the front court to hold real big man in the next games to come. Anyways, we are the underdog here but a wins a win let's get it Lakers!

I couldn't believe my eyes, man! The Lakers played like a whole new team - trusting each other and nailing those shots. And get this, LeBron only took one shot in the last 12:35, but they still won on the road by double digits! I'm stoked, this game was just awesome to watch!
We wanted depth, we have depth and that game was a great example on how helpful depth is in the playoffs.

I knew it would be a difficult series because we're up against a young team (and also considering that they are doing great this season). But with the lakers having that playoffs experience + the new face of the Lakers (who can definitely contribute and convert it to win) + lebron possibly in his playoff mode?, I have no doubt that they can go head to head with the Memphis. I just hope that they continue this level of play and advance to the next round. It's going to be a difficult series, but it's what makes this season exciting. Go lakeshow!
