    I’m listening to this.
    He’s wise no doubt.
    Inspired.
    Love his focus on Christ
But I must know what people mean when they say
    The gospel was lost…
    It’s not true.
If the gospel is His message and Christs life and sacrifice..
    it wasn’t lost.
It’s here and knowledge of it
    Of Him was never lost!!
We have never lost His great sacrifice nor knowledge of it.
    Of Him.
I seriously think this is wrong to say
    The gospel was lost.
    Lost?????
    No way.
It was Given by God spiritually and miraculously and can’t ever ever ever be taken away!
Even the knowledge of Jesus has never been lost!!!
I have read books from many periods of history like Corrie ten Boom
    Like Eric Liddell
    Like Hudson Taylor
    Like CS Lewis
    Like kisses from Katie
    They knew about the gospel
    About Jesus about His power
    And alllll the miracles!
Faith in Christ never has been lost… people have repented!
    People even covenanted deeply.
    And sacrificed.
    It’s never been lost.
    Changed possibly
    Not complete for sure.
Hidden from the full membership of the world yes.
Scriptures were hidden for a while.
    Scriptures were altered in ways.
    Understanding not complete.
    But
    Not lost!
Lost is big word with a devestaring meaning and by my experience and study.
We can’t say the gospel was lost.
We could say the organization Christ established changed.
But we must not say lost.
    Thst creates a wasteland picture
A picture of complete chaos and total mass ignorance about Jesus..
    Thst isn’t true.

The authority to officiate in the ordinances was lost. Key doctrines were lost, including knowledge of the nature of God. If the first principle of faith is to know the character of God, not understanding who Christ and God are seems to be a big blow to having the Gospel.
