Hey great vid man! I use the Intex K2 for bass and pan fishing, and it works great! For people that are sketched about the hooks they just need to mind their casts and retrieves and they should be good. Also putting a rubber eraser on the hook tip when I'm loading my gear in and out of the kayak for extra safety has been great too. Keep up the awesome vids bud!
Would getting a two-seater version of that kayak be smart? I found it for around 15 bucks more and me and my younger brother could fit on it. Is it smarter just to get two kayaks?
For fishing I would check out other Intex options. Type in videos to see how people fish and customize the Seahawk 2, 3, 4, Excursion 5, and the Mariner 4. The boats give you more room for fishing and fishing gear. You can build a hardwood floor so you can stand up.
U got the 1 seater or 2? U use a anchor or drift? I been checking these out for awhile and ifu can give your honest opinion on them that'll help my decision
You unhook the fish and toss your line near your leg/lap. How are you able to keep your lure/hook from puncturing your kayak? I have the single person model but I'm yet to go fishing in it. I fear I might puncture a how with one cast.
very nice video bro... you got skills and patience. do you bring tape or glue if the kayak get popped? i have the same one $65 bucks walmart. it's nice.
Do you use your kayak on rocky or water full with sticks ? How good is the material ? I’m thinking of buying one to go fishing but idk if it’s a great idea on buying a inflatable kayak because I think it will pop
I hear you I went to a big millpond a town over and it rained a ton the water was so turbulent and I know it is notorious for stumps/branches. I think it would hold up as long as I don't ram things full steam but that water looked so nasty with logs and muk.
I want to get an inflatable kayak since my house is small and only wanted to know if your hooks are a risk for the kayak? I mean is it strong enough to prevent a hook piercing it?
Thank you! The best way to get in it if you're fishing is to carry light, put your small plano tackle boxes in the netting in the front with your rod, and then I would launch the kayak parallel to the bank! Just be careful about the skeg because you can ground it and have it pop off and you'll probably won't find it again. Hope this helps!
For those thinking of fishing with the kayak, consider Intex's line of boats. They give you more space and are probably better suited for that. Check on here for videos of custom Intex boats. Enjoy.
This is an Intex, this is their K1, I have their K2 which is a two seater inflatable. Both of these are great options for anglers on a budget that want to get out past the shore lines
Hey what’s that kind of rod and reel I’m kind of newbie on fishing but I like this one you’re using if you could please tell me the brand for both of them
Man! I've been looking into getting an inflatable kayak. I've always wanted to try fishing and to go out on the water but can't really afford much else. Great video :)
Chewy HD I would save up for a real kayak not a pool toy. I know it's enticing but you'll constantly worry about punctures, patching, hitting sharp objects underwater and then your screwed. Possibly stranded alone in the water. I speak from experience I used to own one before my angler kayak.
It can handle going over underwater tree branches and stuff just fine. I was a little sketched at first but the rubber is a lot thicker than you would think. The only problem you would have to worry about is getting a fishing hook in the kayak but theres two chambers you inflate so if you puncture one, at least the other one will keep you afloat. Tracking is okay, for an inflatable. It's good for small ponds but not something you would want to take out to a big lake. It also tends to drift a lot with the wind, so on windy days it's not ideal to use it. But if you drive a small car and need something to just get you out on the water, then yes I would recommend this!
Fish come off....you real in to fast and don't let the fish catch the bait enough...just a little tip:) GIve a bit more side action...you sure real in fast!LOL

I was looking around. Asking google questions like, "Am I stupid for wanting to fish in my inflatable kayak?" Makes me feel way better
@@nicholasroosa2545 I 100% did the same thing. I'm like... if I fish an inflatable kayak am I an idiot?
Lol that's the EXACT same kayak I just bought. Received it yesterday. Love the looks of it.
After 1 year has the Kayak lasted? JW because i'm thinking of getting the K1
The kayak has now gone on 5 years of use and not to many problems
@@lazybeaver9683 Yes it has, have had no problems with it.
Done any fishing in it? Is there concern of a fish spine or hook getting dug into the sides?
Gregg Davis yes I went today I have a small air leak but I put some band aids and gum over it I held air fine
If you keep fish on an inflatable kayak, how would you do it? Use a stringer or something like a live well?
here is that kayak any good for fishing because i wanted to buy one for summer but i dont know if its worth it, thanks in advance

jimmy Calix I heard it’s better to get two separate so you’re not worrying about the person in front of you or behind you while casting
Thanks!

Yes that does mine is a different brand. And they are built in. Thanks for the advice and keep up the good videos!!
I got one of these on sale, it actually is very comfortable and easy to paddle. It gets you out on the water!!
U got the 1 seater or 2?
U use a anchor or drift?

You look quite comfortable? bare feet with a couple towels? I have one of these but I haven't used it yet I'm afraid it might be kind of uncomfortable
They’re very comfortable!
Did you ever worry about popping the kayak with the hook?

You still in the bcs area? We have a kayak group over here now, well tight lines bro!!
Finally you realize you have to take fish out slowly...
Where do you keep the oar?
I want to get an inflatable kayak since my house is small and only wanted to know if your hooks are a risk for the kayak? I mean is it strong enough to prevent a hook piercing it?
Aggie Angling thank you! I’ll be getting one soon, thanks again :)
Do you still have this kayak on good shape after 1 year?
I just got one for Christmas so im ready to try it out real soon. Do you have any tips on getting in it or any good advise. Great video by the way!!

Hows the kayak holding up?
It's holding up pretty good!

Hey what’s that kind of rod and reel I’m kind of newbie on fishing but I like this one you’re using if you could please tell me the brand for both of them
I'm using the 7ft Phantom Medium-Heavy Fast Action by FavoriteUSA, and the reel was the Diawa Tatula CT!
Man! I've been looking into getting an inflatable kayak. I've always wanted to try fishing and to go out on the water but can't really afford much else. Great video :)
Thank you so much! Inflatables are the best solutions when it comes to budget and space if you got a small car!
Aggie Angling Yup! I've got an SUV so I'd say it would definitely be a good fit
You can get the one he has on Amazon for just 70 bucks.
Rusty Kuntz Seriously? Hmm, I definitely may be going fishing this summer then!

I'm very clumsy and I fear the popping my kyak
Would you consider this kayak for fishing and how does it handle??

you can also get a fishing anchor for inflatable boats...about 45 bucks.
