We undervalue or dismiss the great achievements and how long we have come from Hunter-Gatherers, to at the brink of Space travel. I'm bored of the nihilism in society, the idea that we are a tiny speck, doomed to death, I look at it a different way, we’ve shown that our short existence is truly a remarkable one, we've climbed the tallest mountains, stepped foot on the moon, explored the deepest depths of the ocean, created fine artworks, written musical masterpieces, created glorious machines of speed and the tools to cross oceans in hours. Humanity might be a universally young species, but we've made our time in the universe a bloody good one.

This video popped up in my recommended and I just checked it out not thinking much about it. I finished watching it with teary eyes. Now I find myself coming back to watch this beautiful montage to remind myself of what it means to be human. From living in caves, to walking on the moon: we are awesome!
My only complaint for most of these videos is where is the rest of the world and why is it only footage set in modern times. If it's a tribute humanity then it should be internationale and show respect to our 300,000 years of history and ancestors who paved the way for us. Without our ancestors throwing atlatls or starting fires or sailing Seas in wooden ships or building massive monuments our of clay and bronze we would not be here. Also again humanity includes the achievements of all continents and nations. Other than that I love these types of videos.
It is absolutely insane what we have accomplished within only a few thousand years, which is nothing when compared to the age of our planet. Even just the last 100 years are mind-blowing.
I don't know how you do it. To do it once is good, to do it continuously is genius. Myself and my son would really like to collaborate with you if you would be willing. He has the song written and recorded currently on TH-cam music but as yet we don't have a video. Would you be interested?
