A WCSG (and now SGL) are really a type of 'electromagnetic flux' engine, the output of which can be harnessed in a variety of ways. Unlike traditional, lower voltage / amperage spark gaps, these can perform actual 'work' as they are also high amperage. Amperage is usually what translates into any physical 'work', such as it takes 12v to start a car, but over 80 amps etc - I created a brand new science experiment as well, "Bidwell's Bee", where you can see a tesla coil perform physical action - can you imagine such a thing at 100x the power??
