Cheers Phil, lucky really as I was not planning to stay at Crewe after the Belle departed at 8am, but after hearing the 97's would be no-show at Nantwich I decided to stay put.
Crewe is generally hit & miss but it is a hub and sometimes you get lucky. There are quite often Class 37 moves to Derby RTC so in/out of the station... worth a trip on a sunny day, thanks for watching, cheers Steve.

A good video. Takes me back to my days working at Crewe. Having driven the Northern Belle on a number of occasions during my days with EWS, I was saddened to see them lose the work to DRS. However, I think that EWS deserved to lose the work anyway. Many of the traction and manpower policies were restrictive.
