Just got these… Mine sound super low output and very dark, as if tone is on zero.
    Anyone else have this?

Sounds fantastic! Would you share your pickup height measurements from pole piece to string fretted at last fret?

Without info on the chain, this is just a BS demo, should demo without any pedals or processor to be legit, so please provide these info.

Thomas Vagner The RV-50 pickups and the Raw Vintage or Callaham bridge saddles will get you most of his sound on a decent maple-neck strat. It’s not going to sustain like a roasted maple neck still, but it’d sound good. I have a custom Strat that has the same specs as a XSC-1 with a regular flame maple neck and it’s very close to this sound. I have another Strat with a roasted maple neck that has the punch and sustain, so I’m pretty sure that combined it would be almost identical. (But I’d rather have the XSC-1 because they’re beautifully made.)

I believe these are the 60's. BUT after more listening & consideration, they might be the 50's.... I'm a lot of help LOL Both sets sound great, I'm putting a set of 60's in one of my Strats tomorrow...

As a final update: The Raw Vintage 60's are in my 2002 American Strat and they are amazing!! The sound is very similar to what's on this video but I''m definitely not M.T. Great dynamics, feel & tone for sure, you need to get a set and transform your guitar ;)
