That is the best and closest rendition I've ever heard. Makes me happy to see so much effort put into recreating THE sound that defined and still defines rock n roll.

Saw (experienced)them in Cardiff Capitol Dec11th 1972.And Knebworth on the 4th Aug. The two shows were totally different, with (for me) the '72 gig being the best. I personally see it as the first 4 albums being their best 'on the edge' live shows, as they had a lot to prove on stage, with a load of spontaneous improvisation. I've got, I believe, every bootleg album to date. Even though the recording quality was dicey in the earlier days, the edge was there. This seemed to be lost after '73, with the band being more inclined to stick with a rigid track list. I feel the later boots, after '75 make me think I'm playing the studio albums, especially the last 80's tour, including Knebworth. Still a great show. BTW, I remember seeing Jim in the Yardbirds, alongside Beck in '66. They were supporting the Stones (Brian Jones),with Marriane Faithful and a bus full of other great memories, - on the same stage, Cardiff Capitol. Yep, a class act indeed.
