WOW!!!!!! For once I have seen a video with a Singer who isnt singing like its the 80s voice hi pitched so not Plant vocals.....Mr Jimmy has found something special here in what appears to be 3 other like minded musicians who did their homework on not only the musicianship, but also the "tight but loose" element of what Zeppelin was about. I had to get off my ass and give this video a standing ovation at the very end of The Rain Song. I am going to look at the other videos and hopefully find the same intensity and love for live Led Zeppelin. Hats off to the group for pulling this off so precisely !!!!
I'm 60 years old Zep is my favorite and in any recording other than Song Remains.. bootleg or what the band put out live has Jimmy played close to what's on the movie soundtrack which I believe is his best playing. Now remember Jimmy can take recordings to the studio and work his magic on songs. So to see Mr. Jimmy play those songs from the soundtrack note for note is incredible... now could the real Mr. Page do it I don't know.. well he must it's recorded... true but he hasn't played like that in any other recordings I've found.
Unreal ! I had no idea what to expect . Great band , bass ,drums - guitar all sound great , not forced . They made this music theirs . The singer has a great voice . I'm thankful people are still playing this music.
Wow, that was just incredible. As a kid, I must have memorized every note for The Song Remains The Same, and that had to be the closest rendition I have ever heard. Bravo!
Funny thing is that I saw the original Led Zep in '75 and with no disrespect to the mighty Led Zeppelin as they might had been somewhat tired from the road as their playing was kind of sloppy and maybe having an off day , I walked out early somewhat disappointed as my expectations were pretty high, this Led Zeppelin tribute band sounds better, wished I had seen them like this ! However back then ticket prices were only around $7.50 so I couldn't complain about that. lol
