honestly the ashiness from baking makes it look grayer than the side that’s just normally set! i feel like baking rlly doesn’t work irl unless u already have perfect skin lol

  • @Melanie_Fan-

Ty I didn’t know the difference

  • @mugglepotato

The baking method was also used since the 1950s, because the base/foundation underneath was so greasy that they need to bake to create a smoother finish. But modern foundations have improved formulations that you just have to set it with powder lightly to get a great finish

  • @leilanielyse

Baking is just wasting product. No one needs that much powder on their face just to wipe most of it off

  • @rocsirocsi9864

Thanks for pointing out the difference. This was helpful. I was baking thinking I was setting and getting creases under my eye. I will try setting only. Thank you❤

  • @Zainab0912

ty for this i felt like baking was almost essential bcuz everyone is doing it

  • @mmoore5190

Yeah I was confused when you said it and thought you didn’t finish with powder at all. For a second I thought to try it but my better judgment said ‘you better not’. I would’ve been creased up in these streets lol

You're the only person who talks about makeup I've ever liked in my whole life

❤❤❤as a 35 year old woman and about to purchase new makeup this month ive been watching reviews tutorials etc but this video right here might have just made me the happiest ❤❤

  • @LovingGodLovingOthers

Tbh I thought they were the same thing, thank you so much for these videos that might be common sense for some people but for us who never really got into makeup or young girls it’s soooo helpful

  • @vishutripathi3594

I have just started trying my hand at makeup and honestly I was getting these terrible crease lines in my under eyes and was wondering what I am doing wrong. Apparently like you even for me baking doesn’t work. Thanks for this amazing video. I would now try setting my face like you did and see if it works for me.

  • @Chihiro33333

I love your videos! They are very clear and to the point! 😃♥️

  • @ivymerritt7577

I think baking is a good idea only if you have oily or combination skin. If you don't, it'll be too drying and result in dry under eyes and highlighting fine lines.

  • @user-mr1qy5un7p

Thanks, Thanks...I am one of those who thought "BAKING" & "SETTING" was the Same Thing....I have been LEARNING ALOT FROM YOUR MAKE-UP TUTORIALS.

  • @AAS_iff
