Hello! Sorry for my late reply, I was not online on my vacation. Yes, it should be fine as till round 11, there is an "increase" crochet, then from round 12 you will decrease. Please see the instruction and written pattern here: www.nebeska.eu/en/articles/crochet-patterns-and-tutorials/headbands--hat--beanies--caps--ear-warmers/crochet-newsboy-hat.html
The specified yarn is "super fine" but in your photos and video, the yarn looks substantially heavier than "fingering" yarn. The head size is 21.5 to 22 inches, but could you give us the diameter of the circular part of the hat after 5 or 6 rows as a guide?
Please see the description of the yarn: LANG YARNS, Merino 50 - 100% virgin wool, merino extrafine, super-wash, 90m/100g - 2 skeins I made the final measurement of the hat at the end of my video tutorial: click on time 53:50 Hope it helped. Happy hooking!
@@nebeskacrochetwithlove5080 THANK YOU! I'm not familiar with Lang yarns so I didn't recognize it as a brand name. Merino 50 indicated a "chunky" weight, so I was confused by "extrafine". Working from the written version, I hadn't finished watching the video. The measurements are absolutely helpful. Thank You again for sharing your very jaunty hat with us.
I cannot find the written pattern. Every time I click on the link to the free pattern. It takes me to a link to download instagram.. I would really like to make this hat so I would like to be able to find the written pattern.
Hello! The written patterns are available at my websites: www.nebeska.eu/en/ This pattern is here: www.nebeska.eu/en/articles/crochet-patterns-and-tutorials/headbands--hat--beanies--caps--ear-warmers/crochet-newsboy-hat.html Happy hooking!
Very good tutorial thanks for sharing
Thank you so much! Wish you happy crocheting!
I can’t see a crochet gauge for the pattern. I will need this if I use different wool. Thank you.
I don't crochet gauges for the hats. The sizes can be easily customize as per my instructions and the written pattens. Happy hooking.
@@nebeskacrochetwithlove5080 Thank you so much for your quick reply
Hello, may I ask a question? I've reached row 10 and my hat doesn't seem to rounding up just like yours does and it's just flat, is that ok?
