I can understand the black Ronseal on the outside of the shed, but I would definitely have a lighter colour on the inside, only for the simple reason that you can find things easier. If everything is painted a dark colour, your eyes will be straining to find anything, especially coming into the dark area when it's sunny😅😅 outside.

The stacking system does come in handy Ali especially when hardening off plants outside. Need some dry consistent weather don’t mind the cold you can still get on but wind, rain and snow no thanks! Hi Mal, I like the idea of the black on the shed. It's all coming together! We had quite a bit of damage here in southern Scotland. Lost about 50 of our roof tiles, they were flying off like they were ping pong balls. Lots of debris everywhere, trees down etc. We couldn't get out as our lane was blocked by a huge tree. A lot of my netting on my plot was ripped to shreds. Been clearing it all up. Fed up with these storms now. Oh for warm spring sunshine!!!!

Yes think the consensus on the shed is paint outside with the black oak but leave the inside of the shelter as is maybe sand and varnish🤔 Hope you can get back to gardening soon. For once we were spared the worst of the winds down here in South Wales Mal. I have pinched one of your ideas in the form of the lining of your compost bays! The fellas at Chepstow Garden Centre were throwing out some old plastic signage, so it’s safely stored on the plot now, for wherever, and whenever I rebuild my old compost bays! Yes, I would use the free paint to smarten up the sheds. I might be tempted to leave the inside of the new shelter to keep it light, but I take your point - it’s a shed!🤣👍

Your structures are amazing, I wouldn’t know where to start😮. At my old allotment I was only allowed a shed 6X4 feet, and a greenhouse( but I didn’t have one), and they were really strict about it.
I know Izzy some committees are very strict some are not even allowed a shed😮 we are quite fortunate as long as you ask permission and it is built safely. Have a lovely week Izzy🙏😊👍
I would recommend keeping the ibc tanks on the ground you can cut the two bars and cut hole big enough to dunk your watering can in makes watering so much quicker especially when weather hot I made a lid to keep leaves etc out
On the subject of black shed mines black and I love it it’s easy to see cobwebs and as I’m like you not good with spiders I find it really useful plus at night shed disappears and in winter feels warmer and if it’s darker in summer doesn’t matter because I’m not in it I’m outside plus I find my tools easier shows up easier on hooks inside as I to have done inside black only thing I would say is that particular paint stinks ! and is hard to get of skin so wear gloves and light mask I would suggest plus you may find it needs two coats my uncle a painter and decorator and he says that make needs really good stir more so than other paints thanks for video

Not quite sure where I got them I think someone gave me them Madeleine they do work well outside when I’m hardening off the plants. Feeling a little better now hopefully back to full strength 🤞 🙏😊👍
Looks nice and tidy now mal mate. Lovely job. Yep I'd paint the lot mal can't beat a free be. Is it quite thin the paint mal cos I got a spray gun last year from lidl and it's so so quicker then a brush. Take care mal.
Hi so glad your plot is ok and you also, I made my own compost my son turn it out of the drum for me just wanted to see how it look to the bottom want to bag it off but we are getting rain now for a couple of days do you think if I bag it wet would it catch mold or anything of the sort, enjoy your video today ❤❤
