The thing that marks SHINee’s excellence is this: they make it look and sound effortless. Go and compare the difficulty and complexity of their vocals & choreography to any other group out there... SHINee is on another level technically. Couple this with conceptual fearlessness (they take musical risks others don’t dare to..& when they succeed, other groups follow their lead...)
This is why so few can successfully cover their work. Or even come close to the quality of SHINee. These guys are trend setters.. experimental performers. This comeback as a whole is a work of art.

Let me clarify; I didn’t actually say “other groups don’t take conceptual risks” ..I said “SHINee takes conceptual risks others don’t”-> there is a difference. there will never be another group like shinee. no matter how much i hate sm management toward their artists, they always know what works with their groups and all of them has their own distinct style. that’s how they manage to be on the top of the kpop business. kudos to shinee and for staying true to themselves and being an amazing trendsetter in music.

I insist: The fluidity and asimetry of this choreo are amazing! They complete the dance floor space and the mix between "liquid like" moves at the beginning has an outstanding contrast with the sharp staccato moves at the end. You can also feel the message and the friendship, the full-trust and brotherhood in all of them, plus or "inside" the thoughtful meaning of the song lyrics. They are awesome and gorgeous! 😱💕😳👌😍😉👍

Even with Jonghyun being physically MIA, the song sounded so full, as if he’s singing with them. It’s feeding my heart full. We all miss our Jjong and SHINee’s not letting the group feel empty. I love it. I love them. T T
bc minho and key are my biases the moments they dance with each other (1:43) and sing after one another (2:18) are my favorite. anyways, everything about this song is beautiful. the choreo, their singing, lyrics, and wardrobe is one point. the stylist went off.

One thing in this performance that seems to make it so much more amazing and really make it feel unique is how they purposely try to not make eye contact with the camera. It's a huge thing to be able to find the camera when performing in order to make eye contact with it, and after all these years Shinee would obviously know how to do that, which just means they purposely aren't. I'm not sure why they chose to do that, but I think it gives the performance a much cooler vibe and almost makes them feel aloof. it was a really good creative decision imo. idk, just something I thought was really interesting.
